Where would I be without my TV Times? I know there's Teletext but you can only go one day ahead on that so it wouldn't be much use if you wanted to plan an evening's viewing a week in advance. There is also the option of the internet of course but you don't get all the extras that you do with a magazine and it's nice and relaxing to sit and have a read for half an hour. The TV Times begins with a section called TV Times news where we get all the latest gossip about new programmes coming up, new actors in town including a column called 'what's next for...' where it tells you what your favourite actors are up to next. T hen there are normally quite a ... Read the complete review

upto date - films - tv - radio - satellite - cable - digital listings. I get the tv times everyweek. Well my mum buys it everyweek but it always seems to migrate to my room. It 70p at the moment. A great price for what you get. I would recomend this tv guide to any age really. I like it (18 years old) my mum likes it (better not say age) and my granparents get it too so it must have something for everyone. What you get - Firstly there is the "insider" feature where it has a few pages on gossip , then news. Then it's time for the features (cover stories etc) e.g this week it's a romance special (as it's ... Read the complete review

I haven't bought the TV times for many years, not least because at £1.05 it is way above the cost of most of it's competitors. However, having rediscovered the Radio Times a short while ago, and having been glad I did, I thought I would give the TV Times another crack of the whip. There are eight pages of listings for every day, including small filler articles about the days highlights. The terrestrial channels, as with most guides get a more detailed cover, followed by the main satellite channels and then just programme titles for the lesser viewed channels. The satellite channels clearly show where they can be found eg Freeview ... Read the complete review

TV Times is a television magazine which comes out every week, the main purpose of the magazine is to give the weeks TV listings, but there are other purposes of the magazine also. TV Listings I like the layout of how the weeks TV listings are shown, The first page gives highlights of what the writers think are points to look out for for the week. The next 2 pages consist of the main TV listings for Channels 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5. The 2 pages after that give the listings for other sky and freeview channels, and also the sports channels. It is all set out easy and it is easy to understand. On the main channels pages they give quick descriptions of what that ... Read the complete review

Rating:
The TV Times is a glossy magazine, which usually has an attractive cover of a TV star to tempt you to spend your 69p on it. Of course, you expect TV listings from the magazine and you will find them. They are laid out fairly clearly, although the print is small and it can be quite confusing. There is also a lack of any "at-a-glance" type features which tell you what is on the channels at a particular time. I like the way the TV Times lists most of the actors and actresses in a TV programme though, as I find it useful. I often watch something, wondering what a recognisable actor is called. It is handy to be able to look through the TV ... Read the complete review
