TV Times is a television magazine which comes out every week, the main purpose of the magazine is to give the weeks TV listings, but there are other purposes of the magazine also.

TV Listings
I like the layout of how the weeks TV listings are shown, The first page gives highlights of what the writers think are points to look out for for the week. The next 2 pages consist of the main TV listings for Channels 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5. The 2 pages after that give the listings for other sky and freeview channels, and also the sports channels. It is all set out easy and it is easy to understand. On the main channels pages they give quick descriptions of what that show is about or what is happening in it.

Soap Gossip
Each week there is a write up on the main stories happening in the soaps that week. This is one of my favourite features in this magazine. They give away gossip but not too much gossip so that you know everything. When there is a main story in a soap they wont give away everything so you are still left wondering what might happen after you have read the write up. It is also written very well, with emotion and humour added in there. There are write ups on all the main soaps. (Even though I would like bigger write ups on Hollyoaks and Neighbours! But we cant all have everything!).

Interviews
Throughout the beginning of the magazine they often have interviews with celebrities or soap stars on a variety of topics, either what they are up to now or a show which may be coming in the future. I tend not to read this feature unless Im bored, as sometimes Im not interested in the star or their story, but they can be an enjoyable read. They often have an interview witht the cover star in this section as well.

Bits and Bobs
Other features I like in this magazine is the crossword and quizzes page at the back, the star signs at the back (I always read these!). And also the love it or hate it section at the back which is where they give readers the chance to write in and say what things they are liking or disliking on TV at the moment. There is also a small prize money for some of these star letters!

Overall I think this is a good TV magazine, although what needs to be said is that you can get free TV magazines in newspapers which may just as good, but this is the one we prefer. It is expensive (£1.05) when you think about the free ones you can get in a newspaper, but its a small indulgence which we enjoy!

Summary: Just what you need to get your TV fix!
