Premium Review Tweenies Christmas Special (744 words)

Whilst passing the magazine section at Tesco’s the Tweenies magazine caught my daughters eye. It’s the December issue so it has a Christmas theme on the cover with all the Tweenies having tinsel draped around their shoulders. To tempt you further into buying the magazine they are giving away a free Tweenies t-shirt transfer. Let’s have a look through together:- On the first page you are greeted with an advertisement for the Tweenies Live 2 Tour. They are visiting Newcastle, Belfast, London, Manchester, Cardiff, Nottingham and Sheffield. The dates start from February onwards. I think this could be a lovely present for a Tweenie ...  Read the complete review

Fans of the Tweenies will love this monthly magazine. It's certainly bright and colourful, and makes learning fun. On the first page of this month's issue is a plug for their new single, along with the lyrics. It's called "No.1", I haven't heard it yet but I expect it will be driving us all crazy soon! This magazine has plenty to keep children amused, it's very seasonal and this month there is a story about Autumn, an explanation about hibernation and some fireworks to colour in. Each month there is a free gift, which probably accounts for the slightly high price of the magazine (£1.35). This time the gift is a ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Tweenies: Makes it fun to learn (374 words)

The Tweenies magazine is a BBC publication and there is an issue evry month. If you have bought any of the other magazines for children, like-"Bob the Builder"or "Spot" then you will know what the content is, because the format of this magazine is very similar. I buy it for my little girl who is a big Tweenies fan and we both get hours of enjoyment from this magazine. In each issue there is story about the Tweenies that has appeared on the TV programme or will appear. This is good because the children remember the story and like to see it on TV.The magazine has at least one other story each issue not related to the Tweenies. ...  Read the complete review

I bought this magazine for my son who is nearly four a while back and he loved it. The BBC magazines are brilliant they are all educational and at the right levels. This magazine is no exception. You always get a free gift with it which the children love. Jamie can't wait to get that off of the magazine. But I always make him wait as there are many activities to do within the magazine and if he starts to play with the toy attached he will loose interest. They have puzzles, colouring in, number games and stories. The free gifts are usually good to as one time my son got a puzzle with the Tweenies on it. It was a fair size and he ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Tweenies: Hey, Hey, Are You Ready To Play? (187 words)

Since becoming a Daddy, my attention in newsagents often diverts away from the usual computer magazines and I now tend to browse the children's sections to find something which will keep my little one occupied for more than 5 minutes. Now, my Lucy is completely bonkers on the Tweenies and has 3 videos and the CD Rom. Daddy's £1,500 laptop is put to very good use most weekends playing the animations and the "catch Doodles bone" game! Great fun! Anyway, this magazine does indeed live up to its expectations. Published monthly at a very reasonable £1.25, it usually features some sort of free gift, ranging from crayons to chalks to posters ...  Read the complete review
