It's Tweenies Time !! Fancy a story ?? The Tweenies magazine is published monthly, retailing at £1.25 per issue. We order it from the newsagents for our four and a half year old daughter. For those that have missed the latest pre-school craze, following in the footsteps of those adorable Teletubbies, the Tweenies are the stars of a BBC TV programme. They are four 'children' - a boy with a purple face and spiky black hair (Milo), a boy with a bright yellow mohican and orange face (Jake), a girl with brown beaded hair (Fizz) and a girl with a blue face and blonde hair (Bella), plus their adorable red and yellow dog, Doodles. The magazine is glossy and full-colour, just the sort of thing young children love. There are stories to read to your child, activities to do, puzzles and a poster, as well as often giving away badges and little gifts with each issue. It also has a strong educational base too, making it fun for children to learn basic pencil control as they follow patterns. They learn about colours, animals and have very interesting articles which teach children in an entertaining way. My daughter loves the magazine and this is a very good recommendation.
