Disadvantages: some 'meh' covers

The fashion bible, quite a few pretenders to the throne but undoubtably the most well known fashion magazine in the world.

Firstly the covers, the apex of any model's career and more dominated by actresses nowadays, in my humble opinion covers fall into two catagories, the great and the dull. Vogue italy nearly always succeeds in providing the great with pretty astonishing covers each month, minimal text, striking styling and always an edge. Vogue paris and UK offer up a few showstoppers a year whereas American Vogue covers seem so formulaic that they're virtually identical, just different actresses.

The editorials, it may take an absolute age to find them in any copy but when they're worth it, they're worth it. The world's greatest photographers, stylists and models, the images can be stunning. The adverts are partially worth the cover price each being as well styled and worthy of notice as the
editorial.

Summary: if it's in vogue it's in vogue
