Advantages: Great ideas

Disadvantages: Not very mainstream - not always easy to find

This magazine is in a completely different sphere from the majority of the home improvement magazines. Not only is in pan-European but it concentrates more on the cutting edge of design and architecture. I first discovered in when helping with a translation job for a lighting company and have found it to be great for someone who is thinking about how to do up a flat, and for whom a home is more than merely a place to eat and sleep. Working from my flat, I need the place to look professional, whilst not losing the homely touch. Wallpaper offers the best information, tips and whilst it is not really of interest to your DIY fans it has a certain appeal to anyone wanting to make their home classy.

Many people claim that Wallpaper is expensive, but at GBP3.60 every two months I find this claim hard to substantiate. Female visitors to my flat also seem to love it that I seem to care about the appearance of my flat.
