Advantages: good articles & well written

Disadvantages: expensive

I’ve been buying this magazine from the first issue. The subtitle on the cover say ‘the stuff that surrounds you’ and that’s basically what it covers. I’m very interested in design which is why I first bought it and when so many magazines look the same & have similar formats, this seem to have something a bit different. It is expensive but is also a very thick magazine and I’ve found myself looking a articles a month after I’ve bought it. Once again many of the adverts & products described are aimed at those with a pretty affluent lifestyle (I can but dream) and it is very stylish, slick & glossy. However, the articles are well-written and informative, featuring subjects such as architecture, design & art in a very accessible way. The photography and illustration are superb. Most of all, the feature I like is its global nature – reports & articles come from all over the world, featuring food, design and architecture from many places.

I'd agree with you. I liked it so much that i got myself a subscription last month. I know that it sounds like a lot but i paid £55 for two years at 20 issues and i'm pretty sure that it'll be worth it.
