Advantages: Excellent for the beginner

Disadvantages: You'll probably grow out of it fairly quickly

I bought this magazine when I first came up with the idea of writing a web site and it definitely helped give me the confidence to go ahead. The tutorials themselves are of limited value for to me as I invariably want to do something totally different to what I'm being shown.

I'm not completely sure I'm happy with what seems to be a push for all kinds of software either - sample on the CD, what it can do inside, then go and buy it. However that seems to be par for the course with computing magazines in general.

Where it does score is in the examples of other peoples sites and links to all kinds of places you can get goodies and stuff to put on your site.

Definitely worth buying a couple of issues, but then then articles all seem to start repeating the same content.
