Advantages: Good value, Excellent content

At last a really good value computer magagazine packed with useful information, good advice and informative reviews.

First the bad news it has just gone up in price from its trial price of 99p to £1.20.

However, everything else is good news.

Firstly its still great value because it doesn't try to compete with the opposition by offering free disks which either don't work or don't live up to expectations.

Secondly, its really well put together, very colourful, nicely organized, attractively designed and printed and the main plus point for me - its not crammed full of adverts. Its 82 pages of genuine interest, small enough to roll up and keep in your pocket for reading on the train or bus, and its published every fortnight

Thirdly, its content. It has regular features on: NEWS, the best new web sites, shopping challenges, online games and DIY websites; FEATURES, new products on test, current affairs (the latest issue has an excellent feature on the role of the web in the aftermath of the New York tragedy), specialist web sites (homework and James Bond are the latest), digital cameras, gadgets and sites and sounds; a CHAT ROOM with famous personalities and their favourite sites; the strangest sites on the web; WORKSHOPS - these are really useful and easy to follow (e.g. Editing MP3 files) and an excellent READER FORUM which includes readers' websites, a problem solver, reader helps reader, feedback, letters and hints and tips.

Lastly its supported by an excellent web site (www.web-user.co.uk), which, if my review doesn't persuade you to give it a try, the web site certainly will.

Believe me, if you like the web you'll like this.

There's currently a great subscription offer which saves you 30% on the price with free postage and packing, that equates to just over 70p a copy - tremendous value.
