It states that there are 43 pages of recipes. I am not a person who tends to follow recipes to the letter and tend to adapt them to whatever I have in the cupboards and fridge but even so I have made two dishes that I have never attempted. I made a risotto which I had always avoided as I thought they were supposed to be quite difficult and although I didn't follow the re...more

Premium Review Weight Watchers: A magazine to inspire dieters (1129 words)
by - written on 24/03/08 (Very useful, 109 readings)
Rating:

Ever since I started going to Weight Watchers I have brought every issue of their magazine because it is a good read and I think it is helpful to my motivation to stick to my Weight Watchers plan. It is a glossy magazine that is published monthly and it costs £2. 55 to buy in the shops but I buy mine for £1. 79 from my meeting. I like the way they section the magazine so that every few pages there is a success story where Weight Watchers members tell their story of how they lost their weight. These members are always very inspiring and they give readers their tips and tricks for helping them on their road to weight loss. Sometimes they do come ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Weight watchers are the best (310 words)

I have been with Weight watchers for nearly 2 years and buy the magazine every month. Sometimes from my class and sometimes from the shops, Although its cheaper from Weight watcher class's and at a cost of £2.50 In the shops and £1.75 In meetings Its a fair price. I love reading the stories of people who have managed to get to their goal weight as It inspires me to stay at my goal and maintain my weight. The recipes are also one of my favourites as I get bored very easily of the same food so finding new and refreshing recipes to make every month keeps me on track. The magazine also features useful tips on exercising, finding local meetings, ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Weight Watchers: Watching your weight? (596 words)
by - written on 25/09/09 (Very useful, 79 readings)

After many failed diet attempts I decided to try to lose weight once again and started on Monday. I did consider joining a diet club but as time is limited when I would be able to go I wasn't sure this was what I needed so decided to use my Wii fit to monitor my weight and buy an occasional diet magazine to help motivate me. On Monday I bought the weight watchers magazine as it was a diet I had followed a few years ago so thought that it would be quite helpful? The magazine itself cost £2. 60 The magazine is 117 pages long. The magazine discusses diets, has weight loss stories, problem page, recipes and diet ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Not Just For Weight Watchers (428 words)

I don't diet but my mum buys the Weight Watchers magazine every month and I always have a flick through it because I am learning to cook and the recipes in there are always proper easy to follow and always come out good. The magazine is mainly for people who are on Weight Watchers but there is loads of advice in there for anyone who is on diet, I can't see why anyone who isn't on a diet would want to read it though because there isn't much else in there. They feature a lot of Weight Watchers members who have got to their goal weight but I think it's a bit of a fix because most of the time they have people who have only had to lose a stone and that's ...  Read the complete review

I had decided the time had come for me to take action about my weight. I am not huge but I really could not motivate myself to change so I thought I would give Weightwatchers a go. A friend told me to buy one of the magazines as there would be a voucher in it that would get me money off my first meeting. The magazine cost £2.60 and sure enough there was a voucher for free membership and money off the meeting, there was also a voucher for another friend who was coming with me so I was quite happy with that. I imagine there are offer vouchers all the time. I have since bought more copies and those have vouchers too. The cover photograph is always ...  Read the complete review
