Advantages: Good recipes, inspiration
Disadvantages: Expensive, bombarded with ww products
At weight watchers we are told this magazine will encourage, and inspire you to lose weight, try new things and enjoy our new 'healthy way of life'
So does it?
Contents: The magazine is filled with life stories of people who have lost weight with weight watchers. There are a good selection of people who have lost varying amounts so there is always someone to relate to when reading. Also included is a little explanation of the current weight watchers plan, menu ideas and loads of new recipes to try. There is a fashion/beauty feature which helps women find clothes that are fashionable and available whatever the size. There is also a quetions page where people can write in to ask experienced weight watcher leaders for help on any matter. There is of course also a generous supply of weight watcher product adverts.
Price £2.60 to the public. In class this is discounted to £1.95. Also in class you get the magazine earlier than when it hits the shops. Nice to have a reward for loyal class goers.
Is it worth it? If you are following the weight watcher points plan it is a good magazine to get and i buy it monthly. However unlike some other 'diet' magazines this is only really suitable to weight watchers. I have found it keeps me from getting bored with eating the same things and has kept me up to date with new products in the supermarket.
A good read, and whilst i'm reading it stops me eating!
Summary: A great aid to help any weight watcher
