Premium Review Wired - Fluff and Stuff (180 words)
by - written on 10/07/02 (Somewhat useful, 27 readings)

I will start by saying in the beginning I gave wired a running chance and it gave me nothing in return. My opinion of Wired is based on reading the magazine. (Approximately 20 times) In my experience, wired is a pseudo-techno rag which spends too much money on image and not enough on quality writing and research. Be it the numerous ...  Read the complete review

Wired has been around for a good while now -I think I bought my first copy about 5 years ago and it's certainly changed a lot. This is one of the most in depth and innovative magazines I have ever read. It gives in depth coverage of the latest technological progressions and isnt afraid to tackle bizarre subject matter aswell as the latest public hype. One of the first magazines to use advanced watermarked advertising even the adverts are fun! The style ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Wired Magazine (169 words)

Rating:

Although it's an American magazine, it is quite probably, the best magazine for the technically-aware. I import my copy in from America [at WH Smiths] and Wired is the most interesting read I get all month. It isn't your regular computer magazine - the articles are on as diverse topics of quantum physics to pirate radio stations. ...  Read the complete review
