There are now quite a lot of cross stitch magazines on the market compared to a few years ago. World of Cross Stitching remains an old favourite of mine. It is full of lots of gorgeous designs and there is a good mix of subjects and styles. I find many cross stitch magazines can be full of too many 'cutesy' designs, but WCC doesn't fall into this trap. The charts and instructions are easy to understand, both beginners and experienced cross stitchers would enjoy this magazine. Most issues come with a free kit which is a great way for beginners to start cross stitching. My only criticism of WCC is that the designs are all quite large and I would prefer to see a few more smaller designs suitable for card making etc.
