Your horse magazine is in my opinion one of the best readable horse magazines about. They dont care if you have your own horse or if you are young or old, they just encourage you to do things safely and correctly. They give you the facts and then leave it up to you to make your choice. They review equipment from what you as a human would need or want to what the horse needs or you want for them. They offer every opportunity to win various prizes and to take part in various training events. they are not biased to any discipline, which I do find some magazines are. Me, personnaly being slightly older, findit actually encourages people like me to take part in local shows if I want. They stress that age is no barrier and never to old to do things for the first time. They quite often have pics and articles in there which feature ordinary peoples acheivements whether big or small. They say that if you want do showing of any discipline, thats fine go ahead and offer advice, but if you just want to a happy hacker, again thats fine do it and be proud of it, they still offer advice. If you have problems with your horse or your riding they offer advice generally in easy to understand english. I have been buying this magazine for a few years now and I always learn something from it, I have even heard peoplr a lot more experienced with horse than I am say the same thing, so it is obviously reaching a varied skill market and caters for both the experienced and not so experienced.
Summary: a useful magazine if you like horses and want to improve your knowledge and skills
