I found a copy of Zest when I was staying in a holiday house and I have never looked back. Right from that very first issue I read and every time I get the new copy each month I am totally inspired to get fit, go running and look good. I have never been a runner and I never thought I could be, but this magazine gives loads of hints and tips applicable to anyone. I entered a charity run as a goal, and now I'm a proper runner. It isn't just a running magazine at all though. It has articles on healthy eating with at least eight recipes in each issue, it gives loads of advice on beauty products, and not just make-up ( which i never wear). It is so nice to read a magazine ... Read the complete review

I am just coming to the end of my year’s subscription to this magazine, taken up on a whim at the Vitality Show last year, where they were offering loads of freebies (always the best way for companies to get my attention!) and a heavy discount. With the latest issue (June) I was sent a renewal notice, I have enjoyed the magazine throughout the last 12 months but am in two minds as to whether to sign up for another year, so thought writing this review might help me make up my mind! … THE BASICS … Zest is published by the National Magazine Company in London. Essentially a women’s health magazine, it does also touch on issues concerning beauty and sex ... Read the complete review

I've been reading Zest Magazine for about 5 years now and it's the only monthly magazine that I subscribe to. I currently have an offer of 12 issues for £12 which isn't bad - quite a discount off the cover price The magazine is aimed at youngish adult women who have an interest in health and fitness. The magazine has sections on health, fitness and workout routines, travel, beauty, fashion (in particular work out clothes) and recipes. Occasionally there are diets and exercise programmes designed for a special occasion e.g. bikini workouts. Recently, the magazine has run some special features, each month concentrating on a different sport such as ... Read the complete review

Zest is great if you are looking for a magazine with a difference that is free from celebrity gossip and articles about unfortunate young women with nasty incurable diseases (as seems to be the case at the moment) As I don't want to be depressed as hell all the time, I thought that a magazine that promotes health and happiness would make a nice change. I still do like my monthly glossies but I find that too many of them leaves me with a major case of paranoia so Zest is a great antidote! ;) The issue that I have in front of me for reference is the July 09 one. The magazine starts off with a Kickstart section - subtitled 'The hottest ways to add zest ... Read the complete review

When browsing through the magazine racks for my treat magazine I am almost always drawn towards the latest copy of Zest. Zest is billed as a healthy lifestyle magazine and that is exactly what it is. It is packed full of articles to try and help the average woman make their lifestyle more healthy, even if only in a small way. There is no preaching, no extreme suggestions and not every suggestion will cost you lots of money. As with most women's magazines Zest is broken down into various sections. *Kickstart - A brief intro into what's hot this month, followed by some real life type articles. Either people done good, inspiration, or how ... Read the complete review
