I found a copy of Zest when I was staying in a holiday house and I have never looked back. Right from that very first issue I read and every time I get the new copy each month I am totally inspired to get fit, go running and look good. I have never been a runner and I never thought I could be, but this magazine gives loads of hints and tips applicable to anyone. I entered a charity run as a goal, and now I'm a proper runner. It isn't just a running magazine at all though. It has articles on healthy eating with at least eight recipes in each issue, it gives loads of advice on beauty products, and not just make-up ( which i never wear). It is so nice to read a magazine ... Read the complete review

I am just coming to the end of my year’s subscription to this magazine, taken up on a whim at the Vitality Show last year, where they were offering loads of freebies (always the best way for companies to get my attention!) and a heavy discount. With the latest issue (June) I was sent a renewal notice, I have enjoyed the magazine throughout the last 12 months but am in two minds as to whether to sign up for another year, so thought writing this review might help me make up my mind! … THE BASICS … Zest is published by the National Magazine Company in London. Essentially a women’s health magazine, it does also touch on issues concerning beauty and sex ... Read the complete review

I took advantage last year of a half price subscription to Zest (which usually retails at £3.40 per issue) for a year, and I have to say I was very impressed with this magazine on the whole. This is basically a magazine dedicated to improving your mind, spirit and body and endeavours to give you all the necessary tips and advice in order to be successful if you are looking to improve your life for the better in regards to how you feel and look. EXAMPLE OF A TYPICAL ISSUE: THE COVER: There is always a model featured on the front (usually wearing very little) in order to show off a fit, toned body that many women aspire to. ... Zest is a monthly womens' heath and fitness magazine. Priced at £3.30 and is available from almost anywhere. I have bought it from my local One Stop, Tesco and Asda, I do not go into newsagents often at all anymore (mainly because of the lack of them) so I cannot inform you as to it's availability there but luckily there is some sort of supermarket within spitting distance from almost anywhere. The magazine itself it very informative, it is always full of new offers and new fitness events. The advertisements are scattered throughout the magazine but they look like part of the magazine. There is the usual letter from the editor telling you of the latest goings ... Read the complete review

I've been reading Zest Magazine for about 5 years now and it's the only monthly magazine that I subscribe to. I currently have an offer of 12 issues for £12 which isn't bad - quite a discount off the cover price The magazine is aimed at youngish adult women who have an interest in health and fitness. The magazine has sections on health, fitness and workout routines, travel, beauty, fashion (in particular work out clothes) and recipes. Occasionally there are diets and exercise programmes designed for a special occasion e.g. bikini workouts. Recently, the magazine has run some special features, each month concentrating on a different sport such as ... Read the complete review
