Rimmel Colour Rush Eyeshadow Mono: ... have owned two of these eyeshadows, all bought when I was in my teens and couldn t afford Bourjois eyeshadows - now I can I don t buy these anymore! The first I tried is "Smokey Quartz (030)", a brown (I don t know where the quartz part comes in really!) that I got in a set from a discount make-up store. This looked alright in the compact but came out rather orange on my eyelids! Not nice at all. The s...

sandra101 Soap & Glory Sexy Mother Pucker Lip Gloss
... have to admit I love Soap and Glory, not only for the products but for the names. I have been known to buy products I have loads of and don t need just because of the packaging and names - eg scrub of your life, feel the knead and obviously sexy mother pucker. A few months ago I was downtown at lunchtime and In my sweaty mitt I held a £2.00 off cosmetics voucher courtesy of Boots and I was beckoned by the beautifully boxed Soap and Glory products on the shelf whilst browsing. I burst out laughing when I saw the product Sexy Mother Pucker, obviously I m a little immature but I couldn t believe a Company thought up this name and got Boots to sell it. I didn t even k...

slinkyindieninja Boots 17 Plump Up The Volume Lip Shine
... ve been using this lipgloss for years now and it is my favourite that I have tried. I bought it after reading a recommendation in a magazine in my early teens. It was cheap and I liked the packaging, and that an applicator was included. I bought the clear one as I don t like any of the coloured options. I used to use it a lot but now clear lipgloss has gone out of fashion and I prefer more matte lips, and bright pink or red colours. I usually will just use a small amount in the centre of my bottom lip to make it look fuller, if I use it at all. It is not sticky, extremely shiny, easy to apply and comfortable to wear. It doesn t make my lips feel laden down with produc...

steeleee Max Factor Colour Adapt Foundation
... first tried MaxFactor Colour Adapt after receiving a free sample through the post. It was the first liquid foundation I had tried, and was very impressed. It was easy to use, and looked really good, unlike many powder foundations I had used, where I ended up looking rather ghostly! I bought the foundation from Superdrug, costing £11.95, which I considered quite expensive considering the size of the bottle, but it was a similar price everywhere. I bought the same colour as my sample had been (natural, I think) and was looking forward to trying it. However, when I used it, I was disappointed. It looked great for about half an hour, but then when it started to "ad...
