I have quite long nails at the moment so I thought I'd make the most of it and buy myself a new shade of nail polish. I have loads of bottles but as you'll all know after a while they tend to thicken up and chip easily.

I wanted a dark brown metallicy colour and found what I thought was just that in the Boots 17 range.

When I got it home I actually found it was a dark plummy colour and not brown, the colour on the bottle was Amaretto, my eyes aren't what they were! Still it's sometimes difficult to tell under the lighting in the shops. That's my excuse anyway.

So....I put this on last Sunday, it's now Saturday and it's still on with only a tiny chip on my index finger. I then come to realise on the bottle it says :

'Lasting fix Nail Polish'
Up to 5 days of lasting colour. Chip resistant.

That explains it! On application the colour needed 2 coats, especially with it been a darker shade I gave it a quick third, before I even noticed it said lasting fix. It went on beautifully and dried nicely, not tacky at all.

I paid £2.79 for an 8ml bottle, which to be honest is fine as when was the last time you EVER finished a bottle of nail polish? I always end up binning them before they run out.

Fantastic product, as I always end up removing the polish after 2 days due to chipping (as I work so very hard at being a secretary and a housewife!!) so I'm amazed at this product I just had to tell you all about it.
