... the short brush handle is very durable and fits well, although I do slightly prefer the ultra smooth metal handle of my No7 kabuki brush, as I find it even easier to grip. My No17 brush has a gold metal handle with a plastic trim at the base, that sticks out a little further. I often find that this part of the handle sticks out a little too much for my liking, making it just a little awkward for me to hold the brush firmly. I have sometimes dropped the brush when it has been loaded with bronzer due to this, which has...more

~Glowing and shimmering with No17~ ***************************** Amongst the No17 make up related products I have bought and used is a well priced shimmer brush. I have used my brush to apply bronzing or shimmer powder to my face in order to add a nice summery/ soft sheen like glow to my skin and found that it works rather well with bronzing pearls or powder. I have also used the brush to apply a little shimmer or highlighter powder across the brow bones and beside the outer edges of the eye area, as well as very lightly across the top of the cheeks, with a quick brush over the chin to give a lovely soft sheen look that makes my skin look a little more ...  Read the complete review

I always like to touch up my make up when I'm on the train, mainly from rushing in the mornings and not being able to complete it properly! However I find that bringing a powder, blush, bronzer and other types of brushes with me takes up far too much room! I was on the hunt for a small Kabuki style brush that would still have the great softness and quality as its longer cousins! I also didn't want to spend too much as it would just live in my handbag for when I am on the go. I decided to have a nose around Boots and came across the 17 Shimmer Brush - it was the perfect match! To look at it appears to be a regular Kabuki brush with a creamy beige small handle ...  Read the complete review

One product that I have owned for many years now and which I use almost daily is the 17 shimmer brush. 17 is the less expensive Boots brand and whilst I don't really use their make up products very often the shimmer brush is one of my most used items in my make up case and this is my review of the product. In all honesty I can't even remember when I bought this shimmer brush because I can always remember using it, certainly in the past few years when I started wearing make up most days again. Having looked on the Boots website for a current price of this product I can advise that it costs just £2.19 and whilst I probably paid a little more than that for the ...  Read the complete review

I have a really good make up brush collection as I was once told it makes a difference in the way your make up looks and a good brush collection is essential and I have always took this on board. As I am naturally quite pale, I always use a blusher or bronzing pearls to give my cheeks a bit of colour, and to apply this I have the Boots 17 Shimmer Brush. Admittedly, I didn't purchase this brush for any sensible reason, I just liked the look of it and it reminded me of a mans shaving brush with no handle to speak of, just a circular plastic bottom and a large brush on top. This brush is from the Boots 17 range which is the cheaper of Boots own range ...  Read the complete review

When it comes to face brushes they are something I tend to collect really. I am very much of the opinion that alot of the time its the application of cosmetics that counts rather than the quality of one and as a qualified Beauty Therapist I take care of my tools of the trade and value them very highly indeed. This is a brush that I didn't buy but got free a few months ago with a couple of purchases of Boots 17 Make Up however to buy this it costs about £3.29. This is a stubby brush and rather nice to look at. Originally designed to use with shimmer pots from Boots 17 range, you can use this any where on the face you want to and I use it to apply ...  Read the complete review
