I quite often venture out to try new make up products, whether a new item or a range. I find the whole experience exciting, getting home to test out that new product to explore its wonders! Of course if it is a poor option then its not so fun, but if the cosmetic is phenomenal, then it makes it all the more special! One of the latest products I have tried comes from the 2true range .I remember the first time I discovered this range, walking into my local Superdrug and finding a whole spinny shelf of cheap and attractive products. I had tried a few of their nail varnishes etc but never their eye shadows. That was, until recently! The packaging for ... Read the complete review

This eyeshadow is available in Superdrug, it costs £1.99 or you can choose any 3 for £5 from the 2true range. It comes in black packaging lke on the picture, I think it is quite plain packaging that looks a bit cheap. It has a small applicator inside so this is useful to carry around. The applicator is quite small with a curved handle, although I usually use a seperate brush to apply it, it is quite handy to have a spare in the box. It has a small sponge end and though it isn't as good as a brush it still gives a good result. The eyeshadow is easy to apply, it isn't flaky so it doesn't go everywhere when you try to get it on the brush. It goes on soothly and ... Read the complete review

Not usually being one for budget beauty products, I saw this range in Superdrug and couldn't resist the bargain 3 products for £5 deal on offer. The product is nicely packaged with a sleek black case that looks more expensive than it actually is - in fact the whole range is quite nicely designed and you don't feel you are getting a basic budget buy. It somes with a mini applicator that does the job adequately. The eyeshadow itself is reasonable quality, but I found the texture rather sludgy - it lacks the depth of a more expensive version and I found it very hard to blend in. However, it does provide a good shot of dark brown colour which lasts for most of the day ... Read the complete review

I have tried so many budget products, which seem to be emerging at a rapid rate in the credit crunch, and on 3 for £5 these really are a bargain. They come in a range of colours, plenty for creating a variety of looks. The colour pay off isn't actually as bad as you would imagine, I was pleasantly surprised. I bought these in both black and navy and they went on smoothly and they actually, for budget products blend pretty well- something that, for me, is really important in a product. They are also ideal if you are a parent putting together party bags for a girls party, or if your daughter wants to have a play with make up. If you want to try a ... Read the complete review
