This is a review of 2True Glossywear Nail Polish which I bought recently, having avoided the madness of the town centre in the run up to Christmas being pregnant and due in November I felt that I hadn't been shopping for fripperies in a long time and wanted something from the 2true range. They have a permanent offer on 3 for £4.99 so I treated myself to a nail polish I didn't need to make up the three items.

My polish
There were lots to choose from and I limited myself to one to try this brand for the first time. The one I have is No53 in the Glossywear range which looks like a brown and burgundy finish through the bottle and is quite dark and vampy. The label promises up to five days wear with this colour.

In use
To be honest I wasn't expecting a lot from this polish due to the price so I armed myself with the remover and a wipe as I thought it might be messy being a darker shade. I prepped the nail with a base coat to avoid staining and applied one coat very easily. The consistency was great and some nails only needed one swipe for full coverage. After one coat I was happy with the coverage but the bottle said to apply two coats so I did to aid longevity. At this stage I was amazed at the shiny wet look finish. I couldn't believe the quality for the price and it looked really vampy and had picked up a dark purple tone. I finished off with my Nails Inc caviar top coat which is also a glossy finish and helps against wear and tear and chips.

Removal
After three days I noticed a bit of wear around the top edges of my nails. I could have continued to wear the colour as it wasn't that bad but I was ready for a change so removed the colour which came off easily with a cheap polish remover.

My thoughts
This is definitely comparable in colour to Nails Inc Victoria, a favourite of mine in the winter. It is a little thicker and has a metallic tint to it but I do like this. My nails felt stronger in this too which is always a bonus. I have read other reviews on this brand and it may be due to being a darker colour but one coat really was enough so this bottle will last absolutely ages.

Price
As mentioned earlier, the products are three for a fiver but you can buy individually for £1.99. I think this is a real bargain for the quality I witnessed with colour no 53.

Final word
For me to be comparing favourably this with a Nails Inc colour is a true testament to this nail varnish. I am already planning my next trip in to town to buy a few more despite having three new Nails Inc sets to open from Christmas! I do love nail polish though it's a case of finding the time to apply safely and allow drying time with a newborn and two year old.

Summary: Love the colour and the quality
