Advantages: Cheap
Disadvantages: Dosen't dry!!
I recently bought some of the new 60 second drying nail polish from Rimmel. I had a good girly night in with me and my mates and we all painted our nails. I neede the toilet, but because I had used the 60 second nail polish and it had been 5 minutes i guessed I'd have no problem while the rest of the girls would have to wait a while yet! What a mess!!!!!!!!! Well I can understand when they say 'dry in 60 seconds' that they may be over exagerating it! But when I'm at least led to beleive it drys faster than normal nail polishes I at least expect that! Now make up brands like Revlon have their own fast drying nail polishes but they usually say, 'wet to set' in a minute so not all can be expected! I've always bought the cheaper brands like Rimmel, Collection 2000 and others and yes they aren't as good as the top brands but they've always done the job. After an HOUR my nails were dry and I wouldn't say I put on anymore than the average person. I was very disapointed!

- 23/07/01 are you sure you're not exaggerating just a little bit about it taking an hour? either that or you musta used a complete bottle for each nail! I agree it doesn't dry in 1 minute, but in my experience 2 does just fine. |

- 06/11/00 I never believe those claims so I always have my hairdryer nearby to finish off my nails! |
