I like painting my nails but hate waiting for the polish to dry. I normally end up smudging it or scuffing it and having to start again. I bought two of these nail polishes from Tesco as they were 2 for £4.50 they normally cost about £3.50 so I thought I was getting a good deal.

The nail polish comes in a see through bottle which contains 7ml of the polish and also what Rimmel describe as a pro-cision brush which will coat the nail in one stroke. Rimmel offer a large selection of colours. I bought a navy blue colour and a bright pink colour. To use the nail polish you simply apply one coat to your nails. I would recommend using a base coat as some of the colours are very strong and may stain your nails.

I have to say I was very disappointed with the brush, it didn't coat my entire nail, in fact I had to use two strokes. Secondly the nail polish didn't give a good coverage on the first coat. This was disappointing as Rimmel say you only need one coat. The first coat dried quickly as advertised on the bottle and within 60 seconds I was able to apply a second coat. However the second coat took ages to dry! after 10-15 minutes my nails still felt tacky. When it did eventually dry I applied a top coat and I was done.

I normally use Barry M nail paints which last me up to 5 days without a chip, however this Rimmel nail polish chipped the next day. It also peeled off some of my nails. I thought maybe it was because I had applied it too thickly but even with subsequent applications I still had the same problem. I work in an office so my nails don't go through a lot of stress I was really disappointed.

I wouldn't buy this nail polish again. There are far better alternatives available. I would give it 2 out of 5 stars because of the price and colour selection.
