Naughty But Nice Lip Gloss

I don't even have to explain to you how these caught my eye! I bought them last year, i'm sure they were in river Island?? But they didn't remain mine for long! After about 5 minutes they were stolen my my little girl! Should of known really.... Cupcake shaped lip gloss.... Right up a little girls street! ( Well mine anyway, she thinks ... shes Maddonna!)
They were quite expensive, think they were just over a fiver? But really one lipgloss is about 2-3 pound so when you look at it that way not bad at all! if the budget stretches far enough i thnk they would make amazing wedding favours!
when you open up the cupcakes they have a very sweet smell.... again asking for trouble with little mouths around! But this is quite good if you are on a diet and fancy a sugar rush :-D! Other reviews on this product say that it does't stay on your lips long, but i thought the staying power was good! Probably lasted a good half an hour, then my lips were soft all afternoon.
I do have one negative point.... the volume of lip gloss in each cake is not very high!! But again its the price you pay for fantastic packaging!!
Overall I think these are quite cute! They would be brill for little angels..... or infact big angels will like them too! good stocking filler or little birthday present! Read the complete review |

Naughty But Nice Lip Gloss

I have a real weakness for cupcakes, but as I'm trying to lose a few pounds after the indulgences of a summer spent in France, I am avoiding them! With this in mind a friend recently gave me a little cupcake pot of lip gloss. The tiny pot of naughty but nice lip gloss has the sort of packaging that can't help making you ... smile!
Naughty but nice lip gloss comes in a plastic cup cake pot. There are several different cakes to choose from including raspberry, chocolate and strawberry. Each pot contains a flavoured lip gloss that matches the cake. I was given a strawberry cream cake with strawberry lip gloss. The cake has pink coloured icing with a very realistic plastic strawberry on top. It really does look god enough to eat, although given its tiny size it wouldn't do much damage to your waistline! This lip gloss certainly scores full marks for its clever packaging!
The pot is opened via a hinged lid. The lid is really awkward to open and I have broken a nail doing so! Inside is a tiny amount of pink tinged lip gloss. There is a sweet ,slightly synthetic smell that isn't that pleasant in my opinion. As the pot is so tiny it is awkward to get to the lip gloss inside, especially if you have large fingers! The lip gloss feels quite greasy on my lips and although it is described as strawberry flavoured, I can't detect any particular flavour. I really don't like the taste of this lip gloss, finding it strangely sweet with a hint of plastic!
The lip gloss does stay put quite well, although has no colour despite that pink tinge in the pot. I don't like the sticky thick consistency as it makes my lips feel uncomfortable. Overall I love the original packaging of this lip gloss, but really don't like the gloss contained inside! If you fancy trying a pot for yourself it is widely available. Debenhams were selling this in single pots recently (didn't notice the price). You can also buy in assorted packs of 4 pots from sites such as play.com for £4.99. Read the complete review |

Naughty But Nice Lip Gloss

I got a set of these from my brother for christmas 2009 and they are lovely! I got a box of 4. Two were chocolate coloured, one a bit like an eclair and the other with a cherry and cream on the top. Then I got one with a white and pink creamy swirl on the top and one with pink cream/icing and a cherry.
They come packaged just ... like a box of chocolates or cakes and everyone was wondering what they were. You get a box of four different 'cakes' but mine were in two different flavours. One flavour was sweet and the chocolate.
I like them because when you are out and about and use them in front of strangers, they often look and I have actually had people asking what are they? These cute little glosses definately have a great novelty factor and make an unusual gift.
They are a reasonable quality of lipgloss, not the best but certainly not the worst! I would recommend using a lip brush with them if possible as I find lip glosses can be a bit sticky. Be warned though, they don't have a lot of colour to them, but they have a glossy finish. They are a little sticky but the trick is not to put too much on, build it up in thin layers.
Mine have lasted very well and are still going strong even after quite a bit of use. I like them so much that I purchased a pack as a gift for someone else and they loved them. I am often asked were I got mine from, which I always like in a product, as it shows it is unusual.
This would make a grea gift for teachers, babysitters, work collegues, friends and family. Ideal if your not sure what they have already got, as they probably haven't got these. At as little as £5 for a set of 4 in cute packaging you can't go wrong really. Read the complete review |
