Avon 8-in-1 Eye Palette

My mate gave me this palette of 8 eyeshadows from Avon because she didn't like the colours and couldn't be bothered to send it back. I'm the opposite and think the colours in this neutral tones palette are nice but the quality of the eyeshadow isn't very good. They're pressed powder eyeshadows and you have to apply it quite thick to get any depth of colour. This palette has got quite a few pale tones and they don't show up very well, the palest peachy pink makes a good highlighter but the other pale ones aren't much good because when you put them on too thick they crease badly but if you put them on thinner the colour doesn't show up. After looking at the drastically empty and old contents of my makeup bag I decided that a full revamp was needed so I was delighted when my Avon book dropped through the door and started spending! This is one of the products which I chose. ~~THE SET~~ The palette comes in a lovely black plastic case which has a clear rectangle at the top front which allows you to see some of the colours inside. Any regular readers of my reviews will be aware by now that I work as an Avon representative when my poor health allows, and have done so for a number of years now. I got this Avon 8 in 1 Eye Palette when i was browsing the website one day and noticed it for sale. I have really dark hair so i find that brown and cream type eyeshadows really suit me best and i loved the colours in this so thought that it would be good. The eye palette costs £10 at full price from Avon and i think this is really expensive to be honest. I bought mine for £5 when it was half price in the sale as i wasnt prepared to pay double that!
