For many years my friend has been a rep for Avon, so on my birthdays and Christmasses i have always received a stocking filler from the available range.
Last birthday my friend did not dissapoint and added the product i will now review into my gift bag, though to be truthful it isn't something i have ever tried before.
The product (after a bit of internet research, Avon is not very forthcoming with instructions for use or properties!), promises to create smooth skin, with a velvet finish, a perfect base for applying your foundation over, with added skin smoothing and renewing properties to boot....a tall order i feel!
The bottle is a rather eye catching gold colour, with the briefest amount of information possible (in English anyway!), with it simply being described as a "skin transforming primer".
To use the nozzle is a simple pump action affair, with a squirt or two being sufficient to cover your face and neck, but i do find i have to work quickly as it does seem to evaporate down to nothing!
The cream is very smooth and has a lovely talc like scent to it, which is exactly how it feels once smoothed over the skin, leaving my face feeling really smooth and pampered!
I find that my foundation does lie much better on my face when i have used this primer, seemingly skimming over the many, many imperfections, and lying nicely creating the illusion of perfect skin!
From the stand point of younger and smoother skin i have found very little difference in my skin, my skin does look smoother when the foundation goes on over the primer, but when my face is make up free ther is no difference at all.
I have had problem skin since my teens, a fact that doesn't seem to have gone away since then, and unusually this primer has not affected my skin in anyway, not even a small breakout of spots, a triumph with my skin!
Longevity wise this bottle contains 28ml of product, with a shelflife of 12 months (once opened), and i have had mine for a good few months now, though am nearing the bottom of the bottle!
Price wise it is actually cheaper to purchase from www.amazon.co.uk, with the cheapest price i have seen is £7.99, which for what it actually does is worth it to me, recommended!
