Advantages: Good value, looks great, really works

This product from Avon is fantastic and will give you a great look for your nails that you can achieve easily at home.

It comes as 2 12ml bottles, one is coloured and the other is clear, but this is the magical bottle that will change the original colour. The colours available are Shimmering Teal, Shimmering Red and Varying Violet (my favourite). They cost £6 for the 2 bottles which is pretty good value seeing as you are basically getting 2 colours of nail varnish.

The effect that you can get is like a French Manicure but with a 2-tone colour effect. You need to paint your nails with the coloured bottle, let it completely dry and then get a nail guide (from a French Manicure kit), stick it just below your nail tip and paint the clear varnish over the tip of your nail. This will then change colour and you get your 2-tone effect.

It really does look great, is a nice change from a French Manicure and people will ask you who did your nails for you. There will be other effects that you can achieve with this one product too, you just need to experiment with it to see what works for you.
