Advantages: Economical product, easy to use, gives lovely results
Disadvantages: Not a wide range of colours to choose from (only 3), slightly naff looking tube
When it comes to my cosmetic purchases at almost 35 years old I'm pretty conventional and stick to big brands that I know and trust. However I do like the odd product to 'vamp' up my look for when I'm going out and when I'm doing that I just use one 'party' type of product so I don't appear as mutton dressed as lamb! lol.
The Packaging:
The product itself comes in a dark and turquoise blue coloured oblong box and on the front I'm told it is Colortrend and there are little coloured spots on there. On the end of the box (where you flip it open to get the product out of) the colour is stated (in my case I chose Berry delight) and on the back of the box I'm given contact details for Avon and the recycle symbol is shown, and I'm told what it is in many different languages. The tube itself to the bottom is a sort of triangle in shape, see-through plastic and on that I'm simply told it's Colortrend and to the top of that there is a very long turquoise cap/lid which twists on/off and that contains a black 'wand' and to the end of that a small, firm black brush is situated.
Using It:
How you use this is up to you as ever! Apply it to eyes on it's own or over eye-shadows etc. I am surprised how easy this is to use!
Now normally when it comes to liquid eyeliners (which this) I tend to need to use a kohl pencil to faintly draw a line as a guide and then cover it using a liquid eyeliner...but not with this, this is seriously child's play!
The brush is firm, the consistency of the colour is great, being wet but not drippy or anything like that. It doesn't have a smell to it at all and all you do is line the eyes with it. As I said it is really, really easy. If you make a mistake it's easy to correct (not that I ever have thinking about it!) and it dries within about a minute. Once on it looks glossy and bright and stays put with no transfer and feeling comfortable and light until you remove it, which is easy peasy to do with your usual make-up removing routine!
Available in Limeade (a bright green colour), Cocoa Crush (a bronze colour) and mine which is Berry Delight (a lilac colour) and all priced at £3.25, these are fabulous and a way to really funk up a look with ease. They are great because they are easy to apply, the results looks really excellent and what is more they are none agitating and easy to remove ta boot! I'm a fan though my one and only complaint is the packaging and in particular the tube. There is a lot of tube for a small amount of colour and it does appear cheap which is a bit off putting for us older buyers! Other than that recommended from me!
Only available from Avon.
Summary: A great product in a crappy looking tube lol
