Advantages: Trendy colours; Dry to a wicked shine; Don't chip too bad

Disadvantages: none

Avons Color Trend stuff is very hit and miss I think but the Color Me Pretty nail polishes are good for a nice subtle daytime look.

I was lucky and was given a bottle of all 6 shades and they are all fun colours that wear nice and don't chip as bad as I thought they would for such cheapo nail polish. The brush is just the right size to coat your nails nice with the 3 strokes you are meant to use when you put your nail polish on and it goes on neatly every time.

It will stay looking brand new for a couple of days and then will start to chip a bit but only small chips at the edge of my nail so I can touch it up easy with a dot on the end of the brush.

The different shades are:-

ICED CHAMPINK

A very pretty pale pink that looks nude on my nails but glistens a bit in the light. It's easy to apply because its such a sheer colour that it doesn't show up the mistakes much.

POWDERY MAUVE

A quite dark purple colour when you use more than 1 coat but if you just want a pale purple then you can just use the one coat and it will give you a beautiful shimmery sheer purple colour. This one works well over black nail polish because this brings out the wet look tone and gives a much deeper colour.

CAFE AU LAIT

Not my favourite one because it's a bit washed out looking even when you build the coats up. It's a bronze colour that dries with a slightly speckled finish and looks good in the summer when you have a tan. DOn't use it on your toenails though unless you want to look like you have discolourations. Yuck!

FLASH

A bright rosy pink colour that dries to a wicked shine and is glossy for days after you've put it on. Unfortunately this one chips loads worse than the others and looks dead obvious when it does start chipping so that you can't just correct it and have to take the colour off and start again.

FREEZING

This is a nice one but can look a bit gothy for a lot of people. It goes on a very pale silver colour but is speckled with a darker purple that looks so pretty when it dries. It doesn't look like it does in the book but it's worth buying one to try for an effortless funky look.

MINIMALIST PEACH

This is a bit too peachy for me but is a very pretty colour and dries to a wicked shine and it's probably the shiniest of them all. It is another one where you can't notice the chips because of the sheer and smooth colour of it.

These nail polishes are a bit smaller than most of the Avon nail colours and are only 8ml but they only cost £2.50 so that is still very good value because I can change my look daily and not tthink about how much it is costing me.

Summary: A Wicked Selection Of Nail Colours At Cheap Prices

I like small bottles because I always get bored with colours before I finish them anyway! x
