... so gloppy and i ended up using a few tissues to wipe of any excess that had dripped. It isnt very long lasting as it sticks to cups and glasses when i am drinking and needs to be constantly reapplied so i dont think it would last too long if i were wearing it every day. An ok lipgloss from Avon but i have used better than this before. Maybe better for teenagers and younger girls but good for a nice subtle colour....more

I've just been sorting through my make up. I counted up all my lipglosses and I've got 25 altogether. That didn't stop me buying another one though. Nope, I was looking through the Avon catalogue when I came across a lipgloss in the Color Trend range, which I couldn't resist buying to add to my ever-increasing collection! ;o) Oh well, at least it gives me something to write about! * Color Trend * The lipgloss I purchased was from Avon's Color Trend range (I don't know why they spell it without the U in colour!) I think the Color Trend range is probably aimed at younger people due to the bright packaging and make ...  Read the complete review

I like looking through the Avon catalogue and website and have ordered a ton of stuff from them. As a former Avon representative, i have tried and used lots of Avons products, this being one of them. The product i am talking about is Avons Color Trend Read My Lips Lipgloss. The lipgloss is 7ml and costs £3.25 at full price. I remember paying around a pound for it the last time i bought it which i thought was a good price as some other brand names lipglosses can cost up to ten times this price! The lipgloss itself comes in some different colours so you can experiment and match your make up to your skin tone & outfit. The shades ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Avon Color Trend Read My Lips Lipgloss: The perfect gloss (181 words)

I am quite disappointed with Avon as they don't seem to sell this anymore on their website which is quite a shame as it was one good product that I enjoyed using. When applied to the lips it has quite an average coverage but it glides on beautifully on the lips. It has a perfect balance between colors, moisture, texture, taste. This gloss is suitable for everyday use. You can easily apply it without too much trouble as the day goes by. If is winter it gives a fantastic moisture feel and it won't dry you lips dues to the cold wind, that was always a plus for me as I have dry lips. Knowing Avon they will probably repackage and rename the product, if ...  Read the complete review

Well with the Christmas party season I thought I would get some lip gloss to brighten up my normal lipstick, I like the colour I use and didn't want a new lipstick so Colourtrend Read My Lips was ideal and inexpensive, on offer with three items for £5. Packaging It comes in a 10 ml squeezy plastic bottle, it has a long pink cap with attached sponge applicator. It is very functional and practical and nice sponge. The Gloss It smells lovely, very sweet but not sickly. It doesn't have that "chemical" smell that you sometimes get with budget cosmetics. It feels a bit sticky at first but looks nice, doesn't last too long but I ...  Read the complete review

I have recently been hooked into the world of Avon, and decided to treat myself to a few colortrend products as Avon are offering any 3 colortrend products for £5 (as 19/12/08). The lipgloss is normally £3 outside of the offer. As ive gone through and tested the 6 items I brought, (well, i couldn't just get 3 could i?!) I thought i would share my observations with the lovely people here on dooyou. Packaging ~~~~~~~~ The colortrend 'read my lips' lip gloss comes in a clear plastic squeezy tube with a long, bright pink lid. The brush is long handled with a small pad at the base for application. Overall, i like the style of the product as it looks ...  Read the complete review

Gives a nice, clear mascara look. There's not much glitter.

Blends smoothly Cant think of any

Gives a good glittery effect,, Looks nice when it catches the light,, Can be used not only on lashes but on brows and hair too. Takes a bit of practice to get the same amount of glitter on both eyes.

GOOD QUALITY BIT PRICEY

Lovely packaging. Dosn't glide on as well as it should.
