GREAT COLOUR, BUT NO PLUMPING (Avon Colortrend Plump Out Mascara)

I bought this Mascara a while ago. I didn't set out to buy it invidivually, but this Avon range was running a 3 for £5 on a good selection of items. So I decided to try this, as I wear Mascara every day, and who knows it may have turned out to be a winner.

This Mascara is part of the Avon ColourTrend range. Although it doesn't say so, I think this range is more aimed at teenagers, as the prices are cheaper than other things in the book, the packaging looks a bit cheaper and plastic-y, and some of the items are in loud bright colours. The normal price for this is £4.25, so it isn't that cheap considering what you can pick up down the high street, but it worked out under £1.70 as part of the offer.

You can only get this in 2 colours which are Black, and Brown/Black. I would say the Brown/Black is quite a deep brown, but not much Black in it.

The packaging is quite basic. It is quite a fat tube, and just the normal lenght of a Mascara. It has the ColourTrend logo on it, which is blue squares and it has the product name up the tube.

The wand is quite a fat wand and I feel this coats your eyelashes well. Although it says it is meant to plump out your lashes, I didn't find this had made any difference. I have very fine eyelashes anyway, so not a great set was made from this. The colour was a deep black and I didn't have to re-apply this. I may be imagining it, but I felt that my lashes curled up ever so slightly at the ends, but again not a huge amount. The Mascara is really wet when it goes on, but it seems to dry quick enough just incase you want to re-apply without clumping.

I would buy this again as long as the price was right. I wouldn't pay full price. It done a good job, but where there is other Mascaras on offer at Avon, then it wouldn't be worth paying more for this one!
