Advantages: Dark black colour; Nice to apply; You can build the coats up
Disadvantages: Doesn't make my eyelashes thicker or longer
A good mascara for every day use is a proper cheap one from Avon and you can usually buy them for £2.00 even though they say the full price is £4.25. I buy it for the cheaper price but because it doesn't make much difference to the length or volume of my eye lashes I wouldn't pay much more than that.
It's a basic mascara to make my eyelashes look darker and it doesn't plump out my lashes at all. I have it in black but you can get it in brown/black as well.
In the book it said it has a high tech brush that will separate my lashes but it's exactly the same as one of the Collection 2000 mascara brushes I have got and I can't see what is supposed to be so different about it.
The mascara goes on smooth and the brush is a nice shape to coat my eyelashes without getting black all over my top lid. It's a good mascara to build up and if you've got time 4 or even 5 coats can look good and this gives me the dusty thick look I want sometimes. I always make sure I let it dry completely between every coat though because it clumps up very badly if you leave it even a bit wet.
It isnt very glossy when it's on my eye lashes but I just put some clear mascara over the top and that makes it look loads shinier but it's still not enough of a look for a night out because I like my lashes much thicker then this for night time.
I think this is v. good for the price and it lasts for ages as well. I have had this tube for about 4 months and I'm just coming to the end of it now so I think that is very good because I use it 4 days a week at least and sometimes go proper OTT with how much I use.!
Summary: A Good Mascara For Only £2.00

- 06/09/09 Avon mascaras are my second favourite after Max Factor, I find them surprisingly good considering how cheap they tend to be |
