Advantages: Nice range of colours, lasts well.

Disadvantages: Wand applicator isn't long enough, pricey?

I have always liked flicking through the AVON booklet that gets delivered through the door, and so last Christmas time when I saw this product on offer I decided to treat myself.

The lip gloss comes in a large range of different colours, with 3 different types:

-The 'Shine' range-
Iced Pink
Tickled Pink
Darling Pink
Mauve Movement
Island Glow

-The 'Sparkle' range-
Mocha Latte
Rave
Apple Cinnamon
Dazzling Diamond
Mirage

-The 'Intense' range-
Intense Plum
Crimson
Cherry Liqueur
Sweet Maple
Brown Sugar

-And then the 'Clear' range-
Clear (SPF15)

You can only purchase AVON products from your local AVON representative or online from www.avon.uk/com.

This lip gloss retails at £6, but, it can quite frequently be found on offer at Christmas and other times of the year. It is made in Poland.

The lip gloss is comes in a 6ml plastic tube. The plastic is transparent, allowing you to see the shade, and the amount you have left. The tube has a black screw off lid, with the wand attached to it. The lip gloss wand is of a decent length, and has a sponge applicator at the bottom. This makes it quick and easy to apply.

When removing the sponge from the tube it will wipe off excess lip gloss, but still leave you with enough. Only one application is necessary to spread the colour across your lips.

I only have one fault with the packaging, and that is that the wand doesn't reach the bottom of the tube. This means, when you are running out of the lip gloss, you have to strategically wiggle the wand around to pick up enough product. It also means that you can't quite get it all out, so you have a waste a little bit when you throw it away.

The lip gloss will make you lips shiny and noticeably glossy. You can tell that you are wearing a coloured gloss, but it looks natural. The lip gloss isn't too heavy, so you can't feel that it's there.

The lip gloss will not make your lips sticky at all, which for me is a major bonus. Having long hair I need a lip gloss that will not become a hair magnet the second I walk out of the front door. This isn't at all sticky, so I had no problems with hairy lips!

The colour will last a good few hours, but will fade quicker if you eat, or lick your lips. The gloss will also stay around for a long period of time, which means re-application isn't necessary very often.

I have been very impressed with this lip gloss, it provided me with shiny and glossy lips, the colour stayed and it wasn't sticky. What more could I ask for! I have deducted a star for the applicator wand issue, but a well deserved 4 stars from me!

You can visit the AVON website for a full list of ingredients.

Thank you for reading this review, I hope it was of some use to you!
