Advantages: Not sticky, pretty, shimmery, reasonably priced
Disadvantages: Smudges easily, requires frequent reapplication if eating and drinking
My mother is an Avon representative and she gave me this Avon glazewear extreme shine lipgloss randomly a while back.
I am not really a massive lipgloss fan as I tend to find that the minute I step out of the house on a breezy day my hair sticks to it and either my hair or lipgloss therefore, gets ruined.
~ Price and availability ~
This lipgloss is available online at www.avonshop.co.uk or you can order it from the Avon brochure through your local Avon representative (if you have one).
It is currently priced at £2.99 reduced from £6.00 and is available in 5 different shades! Avon make-up always seems to have some sort of offer on it.
~ Packaging ~
The lipgloss comes in a 6ml tube which narrows at both ends. The lipgloss is visible through the clear plastic tube and it is a bright pink shimmery colour. The end of the tube has a tiny white sticker on telling you that this shade is called 'pink watermelon'.
The lid is made from black plastic and it is unscrewed to reveal the wand with a sponge tip applicator.

The actual gloss is bright pink with a shimmery sparkle to it. In my opinion the colour does not look as bright on your lips and it certainly isn't over the top. The shimmer is slight and is not glittery!
It looks glossy as well as shimmery, but it does not feel tacky or sticky. I'd say it feels almost watery on my lips and quite moisturising.
It looks really nice on. It is not the thickest gloss that I have used so it doesn't look overdone or unnatural.
The lipgloss is smudged fairly easily, like I find with most lipglosses and it does need to be reapplied after eating and drinking.
I do like this lipgloss. Although it has its flaws, I don't think it is any worse than other lipglosses I have tried and since I got this lipgloss I have bought a few more from Avon's glazewear range.
~ Overall ~
Overall, I like this lipgloss and although I'm not a massive lipgloss fan this has quickly become one of my favourites. It does not feel sticky. It looks shimmery and pretty with a light, not thick, gloss. It does need topped up regularly, but for me all lipglosses do. I think it is reasonably priced and would definitely buy it again if mine ran out.
Summary: A nice lipgloss!
