“ Brand: Avon / Type: Lipstick / Suitable for: Lip „
I bought this lip lacquer from Ebay and it cost me £2.99 which I thought was a reasonable price to pay for a lip lacquer which comes in a little black shiney case and has a mirror in the lid when you open it up.
The case is a good size for any make-up bag and doesn't open easy which is great for carrying around with you as it won't open and spill in your handbag as I'm sure many of us has had that happen before.
I like the little mirror as you can just stop what your doing, open up the case and re-apply the lip lacquer, this is handy for me as I wear glasses and so I can see better when im reapplying this onto my lips when it feels like it has faded off.
This is a a little thinner than lipstick, but it isn't runny and doesn't feel sticky on the lips when you apply it.
I like the colour too although when you open the case it looks darker in the case than on the lips, but I like this too as you get the natural look, which enhances the lips without ending up looking too over the top, like with other bright colour lipsticks. I prefer the subtle, natural look so for me this is a good option.
The lip lacquer has so far lasted me four weeks and I use it everyday , it needs replaceing now so I am definately going to buy another one. There is a little brush inside too which you apply the lip lacquer with, this is a brush and not a stick with foam on it and the brush applies evenly and with just enough lip lacquer to get the natural look.
I love this product and as I live rural I don't have an Avon agent in my area but am happy that it is easily available on Ebay although you may have to settle for a different shade if it's not available , but for that price I'm happy to compromise.
I ordered this from eBay (yes I get a lot of discontinued Avon items from eBay!) I actually ordered a pink version but got sent a 'Perfect Brown' instead. It comes in a black, shiny plastic case; in the lid is a mirror which is always handy, not all products have a mirror and that can be quite annoying. The lid has quite a tight seal on it, so there is no chance of it coming undone in your handbag or make up case and making a mess everywhere.
I guess lacquer is the in-between product of lipstick and lip gloss, it is too thin to be lipstick but not runny enough to be lip gloss. It comes with an applicator brush, yeah no sponge applicator which I hate!! The only problems with brushes are that although they first come with the plastic sleeve to cover the bristles, once you take it off and use the makeup, you can't get it back on and it covers the lid in lipstick! The colour I got was a horrible colour in the case, not appealing at all. However when applied the colour does change and is lighter and very glossy. I wouldn't have ordered this colour for myself although I do wear brown lipstick, but now I have used it I will defiantly buy it again. It goes on well and lasts longer on your lips than an average lip gloss.
Avon Glazewear Lip Lacquer comes in a glossy, thin black square case. It's pretty much smaller than what I thought it was. The case is securely locked that I couldn't open it with just one hand. Although it's a little difficult to open the case, the fact that it doesn't open itself in my bag to prevent a mess keeps me from complaining. Inside the lid is a little mirror and at the lower part of the paste is a tiny brush applicator.
I call it a paste for it's thinner than a lipstick and thicker than a regular lip gloss. Whatever colour the paste appears to be, it always becomes lighter when applied on lips. I got the 'Brown Sugar' but it looks like 'Nude' (one of Avon's lipstick light shades) when applied on the lips. This lip lacquer seems to be a combination of a lipstick and a lip gloss with a nice luster and a smooth finish. I can wear it alone or over my favourite lipstick. It feels a little sticky but not too heavy on my lips. It actually feels like a lipstick but it looks more of a lip gloss.
I like the shimmer it brings to my lips and the little glitters amaze me as they add up to that glossy look. What I don't like about it is that the paste sticks to the tiny brush and the handle so I would be needing a tissue to rub my fingers just to get rid of the paste after each application.
This lip lacquer regularly costs about £4 but you can get it at £1.50 when on sale.
I tend to always buy a little something from Avon when I get my greedy hands on a catalogue as it's always a nice treat for me when I do. Chosing what to buy is another matter however as some things I like to 'inspect' before buying, for this reasons catalogues always frustrate me LOL!
My most recent Avon splurge included this cute little lip gloss. I adore lip gloss, especially reasonably priced lip gloss that isn't sticky, which I am pleased to say this qualifies. I got mine in the 'Passion' colour option, a kind of red/orange colour with light reflecting sparklies in it. The packaging is good, a slim flat black square shaped case, containing the lip gloss and a lip brush with an always handy mirror in the lid. It's small enough to slim into a pocket or handbag, which I love about it.
The gloss itself is a pretty colour, I'm absolutely crazy about the gold coloured sparkles in it. It's a smooth gloss, goes on nicely and like I said before but need to repeat, is in no way sticky, in fact it feels more like a lipstick but looks like a gloss - awesome in my most honest opinion!
I've also just noticed that it is currently on offer and 10% of sales go to the Breast Cance Research charity, I think I may have to invest in a couple more colours for the summer.
