The aroma is quite alcoholic and smells a little bit like Baileys but you can't really smell it anymore once it's on your lips. It doesn't really have a taste at all. You don't need to apply much of the product to get the desired look and the applicator is soft and allows you to be quite precise. Avon Glazewear Liquid Lip Colour: Glazed Over With Colour (366 words)

When i was flipping through my friends Avon brochure, i came across these little gems. I was tempted due to the promise of a lip colour that has the coverage of a lipstick, with the shininess of a gloss, as well as being a long lasting formulation. I was even more tempted by the price, $6 a pop, so naturally i had to give in. I purchased two different shades, dazzling pink, and blushing. I then waited for the glosses to come in with much anticipation. I received the lip shades in no time, and was slightly disappointed with the blushing shade which was much darker than the brochure makes it seem. Beware when ordering from the brochure, that many of the ...  Read the complete review

If there is one beauty must have item that should be in everyone's make up bag its lip-gloss. It can create a nice daytime look that's less heavy looking than lipstick and can glam up your lips big style for the evening!! I personally have a difficult time living with lip gloss as my hair is long and I can't stand it when I go outside and my hair is constantly sticking to my lips!! Then I have to peel it off my lips taking off half of what I put on and a mass of sticky hair! It was my mission to find one that looked gorgeous, felt nice on my lips and wasn't too sticky. When I eventually found it (after numerous different brands I can tell you!) I decided that ...  Read the complete review

Avon Glazewear Liquid Lip Colour: Glaze of Glory (776 words)

I am always using lip balms and glosses rather than lipsticks as I prefer how they feel and look on the lips. I have a big variety of lip glosses in my make up bag but until recently had never heard of these Avon Glazewears. A friend actually gave me a pack of three of these glosses and I have been using them regularly since I acquired them. Avon is a brand I buy from now and then online and occaisonally if a rep. delivers a catalogue to me. I tend to stick to buying products I already know though and have always been a bit cautious about purchasing things I've never used before. However Avon's cheap prices are a big attraction and they quite often have ...  Read the complete review

Looking at my make up collection recently, I decided I needed to stock up on some more lipstick and lip gloss. As usual, I ordered some from the Avon catalogue, including two from the Glazewear range, which I hadn’t tried before. Glazewear comes in long see-through glass tubes, with a dark blue lid and GLAZEWEAR written in dark blue. It is a screw-top lid with a wand and sponge applicator on the end. Each tube contains 5ml, which doesn’t sound much, but seems to last quite a long time. I also found that these were easier to find in my tapestry bag (I don’t do handbags – think Mary Poppins and you’re close!!), as the ...  Read the complete review

Avon Glazewear for Lips is basically a lip gloss range from Avon – and might I add a extremely good range at that. Glazewear leaves your lips really shiney and healthy looking. Glazewear is specially formulated to help protect your lips against drying ( which I found happened my lips regularly when I was using other brand products similar to glazewear). Glazewear is super moist. The Glazewear range comes in 5ml bottles with a wand applicator for precision colour. And come in nine different shades – so there is a colour to suit all tastes. The colours available include: NAUGHTY NEUTRAL GOLD DIGGER BROWN ...  Read the complete review
