Advantages: Creamy; Smooth to apply; Choice of colours
Disadvantages: none
I have never liked Avon lip liners or eye liners because they drag my skin but since my cousin gave me a Glimmersticks Lip Liner in the shade Pink Bouquet I have realised that this is a very good lip liner and is a ver reasonable price.
It goes on nice and creamy and doesn't drag the skin round my lips at all. I can get a neat line around my lips and because it's so creamy I can line each of my lips in one line and that gives a much neater finish than if you use a pencil and have to use lots of small strokes to get the line.
You have to twist the bottom of the tube to make the colour come out of the tube and this sharpens it each time so that you're never left with a blunt lip liner because that makes your make up proper messy and it's obvious that you've used a not sharp liner.
When I apply my lipstick it doesn't bleed into the skin round my lips and this lip liner keeps it in place good. The Pink Bouquet is a deepish pink colour and goes with most pink or red lipsticks but it does look a bit mad with very pale pink because it's too much of a contrast between the shades and looks proper dated. IF you can carry this look off though then this lip liner is good though cos the creaminess means you can get a smooth enough line round your lips to enhance the look of the colour.
This lip liner costs £5.00 usually and that is a bargain because the last lip liner I brought in Boots was nearly a tenner and it was proper scratchy and not a nice colour like this one.
Summary: Lip Liner That Doesn't Cost A Bomb
