One of the first makeup products I started to wear was eyeliner so over the years, I have tried many different brands. We always have an Avon book 'floating' around the office so when I spotted this, I thought I would give it a try. The pencil looks a bit like a thin felt tip pen which comes complete with a lid which can just ... Read the complete review

I have a few Avon glimmersticks, which I have received in Avon gift sets and as free gifts when ordering above a certain amount. It is basically a crayon eyeliner. ~ Appearance ~ It comes in a black plastic pen, which is 4-5inches long. The side of the eyeliner has the words 'glimmerstick eye liner Avon ... I wear an eyeliner on a near daily basis as I like the fact that it helps define the eyeline and of course I like the effect it gives. Now, I don't use a lot, I'm not one for big thick lines across my eyelid, just something thin and a little more subtle but noticeable enough. I'm not normally fussy when it comes to using a particular ... Read the complete review

I have this eye liner in a number of colours and am very happy with it. It stays on for hours, doesn't smudge easily and looks great. It's also very reasonably priced.I have been using it for years and would highly recommend it.

Avon's Gilmmerstick Eye Liner gives long lasting wear and is easy to smudge if you want to create a more subtle line. They don't drag the skin as you apply and are long lasting. They are really good value for money. There are a range of colours available to suit every eye colour and style and they are often on offer in the Avon books. ... Read the complete review

==The product== I tend to purchase a lot of my makeup from Avon just because of the convenience of shopping at home and having it delivered to my door. I do find their products a little hit and miss but this is one of my best buys ever. I do not like to use eyeliner other than on my top lid but this was recommended by my ... I'd always wanted one of these from Avon as I have an eyeliner obsession, I managed to get two in one of the many sales that Avon often have. I got a black and dark blue one for about £2.50 each which is about half the price of they are usually sold for. The glimmersticks come in very thin tube packaging, slightly thinner ... I must admit that I'm surprised to find myself in a position where I am reviewing an Avon product as my experiences over the years with their make up and toiletries have been far from favourable and as a result, they no longer receive my hard earned cash. However, a couple of weeks ago a work colleague gave me a few brand new boxes of ... Read the complete review

This is by far the best eye liner I have ever used. I have been using eye liner for 12 years. First I used pencil eye liner which scratched my eye- ouch! Then I moved on to liquid eye liner which got a bit messy and sometimes went into my eye - ouch! So, after not much luck with the two leading types of eye liner I decided to give Avon's ... I bought this from avon as I needed a new eye liner and I saw this in blue so decided for a change from black, it cost me just over £2 to buy one, you may get them cheaper if they are on offer. When I got the eye liner I took the lid of to reveal a short nib on the end of the pencil, the nib was surrounded by plastic, now if ... Read the complete review

I'm not usually big on eye make-up. For me just mascara and maybe a sweep of Neutral eye shadow if going out in the evening. I have tried several eye liners, liquid, pencils etc but never really liked the heavy look or in the case of liquid eye liner, the difficulty in applying it. Then I discovered Avon Glimmersticks. I am a massive fan of Rimmel's liquid eyeliner and I love the definition that it gives my eyes. The only problem with this product is that it gives quite a dramatic look that doesn't always suit toned down make up so I decided to get a pencil eyeliner for day time wear. My mother has always used Avon eyeliners so when I mentioned this to ... Read the complete review

The glimmerstick has a twist end so that the kohl stick gradually comes out the other end (like a lipstick but much thinner); which means no annoying sharpening or the resulting mess that you usually get with traditional eyeliner pencils. Personally I have never completely mastered liquid eyeliner and so the glimmerstick is a perfect ... Read the complete review

I am not really a makeup user just to begin with. I wear eyeliner quite often to frame my eyes. I just prefer my face with charcoal framed eyes. I have gone through a fair few different makes of eyeliner including the glimmerstick from Avon. I felt that Avon were a well known, widely used company so I felt I could make a safe bet in ... I bought from Avon's Glimmerstick Luxe range having had so many of my eyeliner pencils break on me, and my liquid liner had started to irritate my eyes, so I turned to Avon for an alternative. I have tried and experimented with many different eyeliners for years, ever since I started wearing it. However, I have never came across a better one than Avon's glimmerstick eyeliner. My Nanna is an Avon lady so when it comes to Christmas presents, I usually get a fair amount of make up or cheap jewellery. I never like the jewellery but sometimes the make up is fantastic. I was first attracted to this product because of the pure simplicity of it,jut twist and then apply! When compared to a pencil eyeliner, it is much creamier and less pressure on the eyelid is needed so that the colour is vivid. Where it is creamier, the eyeliner does not last for long along the waterline and is bareley visable so I would ... Read the complete review
