Having a fairly pale complexion, I try and find products that are going to give my skin a bit of a glow, and I find a lot of bronzers just make me look like I have been tango'd, so when I spotted these pink face pearls in the Avon catalogue, I decided to give them a go. They arrived in a black box with minimal writing on, and when I opened it, I found a sleek looking black pot. It looks pretty impressive, and even though the pot is made from plastic, it still looks like an expensive item of make up. Unscrewing the lid, you will find the top covered by a white, foamy applicator sponge. Lift this off, and the rest of the pot is filled with lots of little ... Read the complete review

If you are a regular reader of my reviews, you will know that I am naturally very pale and therefore always have to use some kind of blusher or bronzing product to give me a bit of colour and a little bit of a glow. At work we have an Avon representative so I am able to get hold of their catalogue every month and am quite a fan of their make-up products, though I find them a tad expensive at times. I quite fancied their Avon Illuminating Face Pearls and had been told by my Avon rep that they are quite popular and she had received good reviews about them so I waited until they came on offer and decided to bite the bullet and purchase a pot. At ... Read the complete review

The Avon illuminating face pearls were a product I had wanted to try for literally years, however I'd just never gotten around to it. Last year I finally purchased a pot from my mother who is an Avon rep. Here's how I got on with them... ==What are they?== The face pearls are basically little balls of face powder, which look like pearls, hence the name. The pearls are slightly different colours, but are mainly tones of beige and pink. The idea is that you swirl a powder brush over them to pick up the powder and your brush will have a little bit of each colour on it. You can then apply this to your face to highlight and give a bit of ... Read the complete review

Avon Illuminating Face Pearls are a simple yet effective way to highlight certain areas of your face to give a light but glamorous sheen. I have found that one little pot full of Avon Illuminating Face Pearls can last me ages and they are a great product to keep for those times when my skin needs an enhancing boost of lightness to certain areas. Last time I bought a tub of Avon Illuminating Face Pearls they were part of a promotional 2 for £10 deal and so they cost me £5. The usual price for the face pearls is £8.50 for 22gms of the product. As the actual face pearls last for so very long when in use, I feel that even at full price the product offers great ... Read the complete review

I got this as part of a 2 for £10 deal along with some foundation. It promised me radiant, luminous skin (who doesn't want that?!) and I can't help but love the colour of these. The pearls come in quite a large tub, I say this because it takes up a lot of room in my makeup bag. It's about the size of a mini Body Shop body butter (the thing closest to me) but taller. It looks.. just like the picture. Inside you get a piece of scratchy foam which I don't think is meant to be an applicator but just to fill the space so the pearls don't get crushed. I was quite surprised when I got these because there quite a lot of pearls, they are just quite small ... Read the complete review
