I didn't get to try these when they were available via Avon but did buy them from Ebay recently. Having done all sort with my nails over the years, I thought instant nail varnish could be ok, it would save time waiting for the nails to dry so I can do my nail art on them.

I paid £4 for a set of light blue nails, which were a lovely light colour. The idea of these is an idea that I wish I had thought of, it makes doing your nails easy and saves time waiting for the varnish to dry. Unfortunately, they don't quite live up to expectations. The colour looks lovely until you remove the nail from the backing sheet and suddenly it isn't so bright, it's a bit pasty and weak. The nails themselves are all long, which means you have to cut each one down to the size of your nail. This is a bit awkward and fiddly. My nails are quite long and they were a nice fit, once cut to size which took forever.

Although they are sticky, they don't stick enough to your nail to make them even, I tried many different ways of sticking these to my nails from starting at the cuticle and smoothing it up to the end. Taking the whole nail off and sticking it in one go, rubbing with tissue afterwards. It still ended up either creased, wrinkled or bumpy with air bubbles.

They didn't stay on that long either, they peeled and chipped very easily. I didn't have to use nail varnish to remove them as they came off all by themselves. I found these pointless and not very good although the idea is still awesome. I guess I know why Avon have stopped making them and why people are selling them on Ebay.
