Oh, wow i love this!
I wear this in the day usually with minimal make up and also sometimes when i hit the town depending what style i'm going for. For me, this product was so great because i only wear cream eyeshadows powder ones also look weird and cheap on me.
The multi-pencil itself:
It's fairly long and is very thick and has an equal amount of lipstick and eye shadow. The colours go perfectly together and compliment eachother great! or even look great on there own. What a great product. It doesn't break like other waxy lipsticks and is so easy to keep both ends come with easy to put on lids.
You can get two colors in these. The pink and purple or theres another one which is kinda like a peachy goldy look.
The lipstick - Is cream rarther than waxy but also has a slight glossy look to it. It's very pink and goes on so well it gets into all the cracks and makes lips look very youthful. It's just the right amount of pink. Not too pale not too bright because some lipsticks can be so tacky looking. I'm very pale my sister and mum have olive skin and the lipstick looks great on all of us. I'm not sure if it's for this purpose but you can also use a little big in with some highlighter for an added bonus.
The eyeshadow - It's also cream and is a lovely lilac it goes on easy and you can make it as light or as dark as you like. It doesn't rub off easily and will last all day. It looks great with any eye colour and is a nice natural look.
Again, these are always in sale books for only £1 each so i always buy about 3! they last sooo long are easy to sharpen and are only usually about £3.00 in the actual book.
Rating 5/5 every time!
My only complaint is they don't have it in peach or red i bet they would be smashing!
This is a fab 2 in 1 product.
The highlighter/ illuminate end leaves skin with a fabulous natural, radiant looking glow. It can be used on cheek bones and brow bone. Finishes off make up well, as it highlights areas which the light catches.
The other end can be used for lips or cheeks, however, the I am not overly keen on the colour of it, it appears pink in the pictures, however in actual fact it is red, which when applying to cheeks makes you look like a bit of a clown and it doesn't blend in well - believe me. When I have applied it on lips, unless I am going for a STRONG red lip and using this to line my lips, I find when worn on its own, it lacks luster so I usually end up taking it off, which results in staining/ drying out my lips.
The other day my Avon lady was running late. Both me and my flatmate are very good customers of hers and she texts us and asks us when we are in and that she's on her way and stuff like that lol. I guess this is cos she really doesn't want to get herself bogged down with goods for us and we're not in, in the main opposed to us being vips or out like that lol!
The other day she was running late and said that she was stuck on a train, I replied back by text that it wasn't an issue and when she did turn up she was really apologetic. Anyway I wasn't bothered that she was late, and she gave me our goodies, I coughed up and was delighted with the two free gifts she gave me and my flatmate! A couple of these multi-pencils worth about £3.00 each. Now this is a weird one they are sold by Avon but not individually so no price is given for them anywhere so I guess you get these as part of a set. However you can purchase these individually for the price I've already given on sites such as Ebay and readily so! So you can get hold of this product with ease if you want too!
What you get is a very nice pen style black coloured chubby pencil with plastic pull on/off lids to each end of it and originally it came in a see-through plastic wrapper that was easy to remove. The middle of the actual pencil which is wooden (just coloured black on the outside) is where the information is given and we are told in gold fancy writing that it is Jillian Dempsey 'For Avon' Professional Multi-Pencil (multigrain professionnel) and then there are two pictures either side of that information one of an eye and the other of lips and cheeks. On the back of the pencil other information listed includes the colour being stated, we are told once we start to use it to use it up within 12 months and contact details for Avon are given. It's a really high quality looking product this one. Quite long and chunky and the writing on it gives it an expensive air to the whole thing.
Well one end is meant to be used on the eyes as an eyeliner or/and as a moist eyeshadow and the other end is meant for cheeks and/or lips. Both colours are similar shades however the eye one is a slightly lighter shade than the lip/cheek colour and the cheek/lip colour is more light and more glossy.
These are simply fabulous and a great bit of kit in my opinion. The eyeliner (although in our cases with our free one's were called twice the spice and so a peachy colour glides on easily though not too wet or anything does look a bit odd in our opinion colour wise however we have both blended it over our eyelid and worn it a a moist eyeshadow and found it to go on relatively easy though it is hard to blend in the beginning but gives a nice look and with time and concentration. It removes easily with your usual make up removing routine and stays put till then with no cracking and/or creasing even after a few hours of it being applied
The cheep/lip eye colour is easier to use however. You can simply apply it straight from the pencil to the lips and cheeks and blend! It gives a subtle shimmer and on the lips does fade over time but doesn't dry up or smudge too much and I guess I'd say once you apply this you get about an hour of consistent colour. As a blusher though it fairs better and stays put all day long really!
Like I have previously mentioned this is easy to remove and above all doesn't agitate my skin at all. I like the design of this, find it easy to sharpen and to look after and love having a multi-styling pencil in my bag for on the go touch ups is great!
