... its really important that I use a product that wont irritate it. The packaging states it has been dermatalogist tested and it is suitable for sensitive skins. As an eczema sufferer I know that I'm not supposed to use perfumed products or creams containing alcohol or lanolin, but for some reason this product doesn't irritate my hands even though it contains all of these three items. Its a waxy consistency and is quickly asborbed without leaving my hands feeling greasy. It has a fresh and pleasant smell. It also works as ...more

I've had a soft spot for Avon products for a long time as my Mum was a rep for Avon during my school days and I grew up always surrounded by boxes full of the stuff all over the house. One of my favourite Avon products is their Moisture Therapy hand cream, I have used this for many months since receiving a tube as a freebie and I have to say I'm hooked. The cream is sold in tubes containing 125ml which is good size to keep in your desk drawer at work or even your handbag if you like bags big enough to take your kitchen sink like I do. The cream costs around £2 though Avon often have special offers where you pick up 2 for the price of 1 ...  Read the complete review

After you have stopped laughing at the op Binnie wrote (my wife btw) about me with an Avon mask on, I thought I would test another Avon product off my own accord. My hands are often dry and cracked after working in the engineering business for over 24 years. They get bits of metal stuck in them, I have to wash them several times a day and they have become dry. I wanted a handcream that didn't smell to perfumed, and I had remebered Belinda's brother buying some of this for himself and his kids. The handcream is called Moisture Therapy and comes complete with Lipid Complex, whatever that is.. It costs £3.00 at the moment in Brochure 4 but ...  Read the complete review

This is excellent stuff if you suffer from really dry skin. My husband suffers badly from dry, cracked skin on his hands, due to the type of job he does. He tried many different makes of hand cream but this is the one that he now uses religiously. It comes in a very plain white and blue tube and it cost's £2.99 for 125ml. What it lacks in packaging it makes up for in effectiveness. Although on first appearance it seems quite thick and greasy, it does absorb well into the skin. It has a slight smell but isn't highly perfumed and is suitable for sensitive skin as it's hypo-allergenic. It claims to increase the moisture level of skin ...  Read the complete review

This hand cream from Avon Cosmetics is really very good. It claims that it lasts for up to eight hours, even through washing. It is a nice thick cream, which feels very moisurising and has a nice subtle fresh smell. A tube of it lasts a long time as a little of it goes a long way. It is quickly absorbed by the skin and is said to increase moisture levels by 75%. It is hypo-allergenic and dermatologist tested and even suitable for sensitive skin. It comes in very basic white tube with blue writing, and costs £2.99 for 125ml I used this cream on my son (he's 2 years ols) who suffered from eczema and it seemed to stop the itching, which in ...  Read the complete review
