I've only recently started painting and looking after my nails again, after a long spell of biting them I have finally stopped and started to manicure and paint them so that they look good and less tempting for me to bite them, as it's a bad habit to get into. I came across this Avon Nail Experts Pearl Shine as it says it helps to strengthen your nails and I find that not being used to having long nails I do things that I would do when they were short and then break the nails, like bringing in the wood from the wood pile, or typing on the keyboard can also make me break my nails, as I forget to file them sometimes to just over my finger tips so that they don't ... I use nail vanish all the time and wanted abit of a change, My nails grow fast but they can break easy. I bought this from avon for £4.00, It usually comes in a nail vanish pot with a nail brush. So, i was suprised when i got something quite different but its good i did. It comes in a little clear tube so you can clearly see the colour. Pearl by name, pearl by colour. The colour is gorgeous and really natural looking. The brush is attached to the bottle and you have to squeeze just a little to cover the whole nail. The colour comes out very nicely not too thick not too thin. It takes minutes to apply and seconds to dry. It's great for every day it also ... Read the complete review

A few weeks back I had my nails professionally done and let me tell you they looked fabulous - until I was forced to have the removed (one fell off) and I found they had pretty much totally ruined my natural nails - more so than any other time Ive had them done in a salon. Anyway I couldnt walk around with my nails looking like that - they had bits of acrylic that just wouldnt budge and some of my natural nails underneath had split so I wanted to cover the bad things up until they had a chance to re-grow and hopefully heal. Now I tried using a bright coloured varnish over the top but somehow that only drew more attention to the flaws so I went on the lookout for ... Read the complete review

I have written several reviews for nail polish over the years as I have searched for the perfect brand for me. I don't like coloured nail polish - preferring the more natural look of French Pink to just give my nails a healthy shine - so when I was browsing the Avon book late last year and spied a product which claimed to merely give nails a "pearl shine", I was intrigued. Even better, this little bottle would only set me back a mere £2.99, so I decided to buy. ~~What it Claims to Do~~ According to Avon, Pearl Shine "fortifies nails for a healthy, buffed look without polish" . Apparently this will give you "strength and ... Read the complete review

I bought this a few months ago from Avon. I had seen this for sale for quite a while and thought that it would be just the thing to brighten my Nails out. I bought this when it was on a spacial offer price and paid £2.50 for it which is a price that it is often sold for. I think the right price is around £4 but I do tend to buy Avon products when they are on offer. This comes in a little squeezy bottle which is small enough to pop in your pocket if you so wish. When you unscrew the lid on this there is a small brush and the way you use this is just gently squeeze the body of the bottle and that will push the liquid through the Brush, then you just ...
