Avon Nail Wear Pro.

I am a sucker for buying nail varnish and as of late these Nail Wear Pro nail varnishes have been on sale in Avon for £3.. half the usual retail price.
I have been buying this brand for a while now and apart from a yellow colour I bought 2 years ago I have had no problems with these at all.

The problem with the yellow one was that it needed atleast 5 coats before it looked even which meant an absolute age in drying time!

The blurb for these is that the shine lasts up to 10 days. This is all very well if you do nothing but as someone like myself would find out, this isn't the case, especially when you are washing dishes/cleaning/cooking all day. With a normal lifestyle you can probably expect 5 days worth of wear out of each application of this nail varnish.
I don't find this bad for a nail varnish as I don't think I have any that last any longer than that.

This nail varnish generally need two coats and that it usually enough, they don't take long to dry and I usually paint one hand, move on to the next then go back, I then try not to do anything for at least 10 -15 minutes to allow it to dry fully.... There's nothing worse than just finishing your nails and suddenly seeing a big chip or smudge in the middle of one nail!!!

Avon do change the colours depending on the seasons, and in the summer you will find more bright colours available but as of today (10/10/11) there are 15 colours available to choose from, these are ~

They come in a square shaped glass bottle with a black screw top handle, the handle as with most nail varnishes contain the brush. The shape of the bottle makes it quite easy to hold whilst painting your nails. Each bottle contains 12ml of nail varnish.

As with other nail varnishes, when using darker colours I would advise using an undercoat as these will stain your nails.
