Advantages: There are a lot of shades available and the nail varnish is very easy to apply

Disadvantages: The nail varnish takes a long time to dry

WHAT IS IT?

A collection of nail varnishes from the Avon catalogue.  Nailwear Pro is available in lots of different colours from bright reds and pinks to pale lilac and even a dark green.

APPLICATION

Nailwear Pro is easy to apply because it has a thin brush that lets you define the edges of your nail and doesn't fan out to make a mess of the straight edges.  The square lid is a bit hard to handle sometimes and this is worse when my hands are cold but I've got used to it now.  The nail varnish is quite thin and the brush collects a lot every time I dip it into the bottle so I always wipe it on the inside neck of the bottle to make sure I don't put too much varnish onto my nail.

WHAT I THINK

I like Avon Nailwear Pro nail varnish but only as an everyday varnish because it is cheap and there are good colours available.  I wear it myself and offer it as a choice to my ladies when they are having a manicure, it is not very popular with them because I offer higher quality brands also.

It takes a long time to dry because of the varnish being thin but if you are applying more than one coat you do not have to wait until the first is completely dry.  Some of the shades chip very easily but other ones do not chip at all, the best long lasting one is called Romance and it is a pale pink lilac colour. It is a beautiful shade for a wedding or if you do not like bright colours for daytime wear.  I change my nail varnish very often and so have only worn Nailwear Pro for a maximum of 3 days but in that time it doesn't chip very often and the colour stays bright.

I use 3 coats of most of the shades and that is because the nail varnish is so thin that the colour isn't very deep. It takes time to apply this nail varnish properly so do not try to rush it. The thin brush lets you create basic nail effects like coloured French manicures or polka dots and that is nice because the colours in the Nailwear Pro collection all complement each other.

ANYTHING ELSE

Nailwear Pro can only be bought in the Avon book or online. It costs about £5 for a 12ml bottle but because it is so thin it lasts, I have got a bottle that is at least 2 years old and the nail varnish inside it is still perfect.

4 Dooyoo Stars.

Summary: These are very good nail varnishes that are cheap to buy with a good range
