I love wearing make - up as you may be able to tell from some of my other reviews and like to experiment with things like my foundation. Even though i have tried some nice foundations, i still dont think that i have been able to find the perfect foundation to match my skin tone yet. I think its just a process of trial and error in trying to find the right one to suit me. I was on the Avon website a few months ago and spotted Avons Perfect Wear Extralasting Foundation. It was priced at £12 for a 30 ml tube. I personally thought that this was a little bit expensive as i have used some really good high street brand names foundations that ... Read the complete review

Foundation isnt something i wear as an every day product but just on specal occasions when i am going out for a night or to a party, this foundation caught my eye as it claimed to give a flawless complexion that lasts for 12 hours, it has a built in primer to give a smoother look to your skin and a very even complexion. At the full price of £12 i wouldnt have looked twice at this but at half price as it was when i purchased mine i thought it was a bargain. It is available in 6 shades two in each a very fair, fair and medium skin tone colour, i opted for the lightest shade having rather pale skin and it did suit my skin very well. It is a ... This is my mates foundation but we always share because we have the same skin tone so when she's at mine she uses my Max Factor foundation and when I'm at hers I use whatever shes using at the time. She knows I love Avon so said for me to try this Extralasting foundation because she couldn't get on very well with it even though she always uses a different foundation from Avon. I thought it would probably be rubbish because I've used other stuff from the Everlasting range and haven't liked any of it but I was surprised at how crap the foundation was because Avon is usually ok for this sort of make up. This one is Ivory and it comes out of ... Read the complete review

Being a Avon repesentitive myself I thought it was about time I tryed the products out. Normally I get Maybelline matte mousse foundation but this tended too dry my skin out so i decided to have a change. I got it on offer for £5 as it was normally £10.. which i think is very overpriced for saying Avon is not a very good branded name. I bought the lighest shade of ivory as I am quite pale skinned. When i applied it went on very thick and heavy and I couldnt blend in very well around my jaw line and forehead. The colour was very orange and wasnt a nice shade at all for my skin. It made my skin very dry on my forehead and under the eye on my cheeks. ... Read the complete review

I'm a big fan of avon products so its no surprise I purchased this item when it was first introduced. However it was one of the worst buys I have made in the foundation world. First of all perfect wear foundations are supposed to cleverly adapt to ones skin tone,so even if a person is a shade lighter or darker than the foundation, its pigments adjust...not so!The shade I bought appeared similar to my skin tone ,but once applied looked very unnatural and thick. The product also gets very greasy on the skin(and even the bottle needed to be shaken vigorously often to prevent the oils and cream seperating)I've had to blot my face sevral times throughout the day when ...
