Advantages: Looks nice, stays on well
Disadvantages: Not waterproof
When I shop with Avon I usually end up with a load of random free products that I would never normally buy, and this eyeliner was one of those items. It came free when you spent a certain amount across certain pages in the brochure, but the normal price is £6.
It comes in a choice of black or brown. I chose the brown one just because I usually go for black so thought I'd have a change. It's a pen style tube with a lid that screws on and a brush-tip felt pen style applicator.
Using it is dead easy, the tip is very precise which makes it easy to control, and the size and shape of the pen is just right for grip and comfort whilst you're using it. You can easily get a thin line or by angling the tip slightly you can achieve a thicker line or create little flicks at the corners of your eyes.
You do need to make sure you shake the pen before you use it to ensure there's enough of the liquid on the brush, otherwise you'll end up with patchy lines. It dries to a matt finish which is nice, and more subtle for a daytime look.
It does look really nice on, and the brown colour is nice and rich, so I would imagine the black one would be a nice deep colour too. It also stays on really well and it doesn't smudge easily. I even found that it can withstand a little water, so it's not a big deal if your eyes water, but it will not stay put through a full on crying session!
I do think this is a pretty good eyeliner, and considering that I got it for free I can't really complain, but saying that I don't think I'd pay £6 for it as I've found better for cheaper!
Summary: There are better eyeliners out there for less
