When my cousin gave me a big box of Avon stuff one of the products was an Extralasting Lip Colour. It is a double ended lipstick that has the colour on one end and a clear gloss on the other end.

The colour I have got is called Pink For Life and it's a deep pink colour that I thought would look nice with different eye make up for different looks.

I don't think its very good and it doesn't do any of the things that Avon says it will and its a right rip off at £8.50 each.

The coloured lipstick goes on too thick and gloopy and feels very heavy on my lips and the colour is not as nice as it looks in the tube because it looks v. old fashioned. It isn't a very nice consistancy and has a horrible greasy smell when I am applying it and even after I have been wearing it for a bit I can still smell how greasy it smells.

You are supposed to put the clear gloss over the colour to make your lips shine but this makes it feel even heavier on my lips and I didn't like how sticky it felt as soon as I put it on. It made my lips look nice and glossy but I couldn't stand the thick gloopy feeling of it when I was wearing it.

Avon said the colour will last for 8 hours but i reckon you'll be lucky to get 3 hours out of it because whenever i had a hot drink it would leave loads of colour on the side of the cup and that isn't nice because I think the look of lipstick on a cup or glass looks proper cheap and that isn't the impression I want to give of myself.

There are another 5 or 6 colours in the range but I've stuck this one in the bin because it's such a horrible lip colour that I know Id never use it again and it's too rubbish even for me to give it to my little sister to play about with.
