I had heard good things about this lip gloss and decided to buy it a couple of campaigns ago as I like some moisture on my lips to prevent chapping and a little bit of colour is nice. The product is from Avon so you can buy directly from their website or from a representative, luckily a girl at work does Avon so I don't have to worry about delivery charge.
The lip gloss is available in a bout 6-8 colours and I bought the Natural Peck which is a sort of light brown colour but also has a slight orange tint to it, the lip gloss comes in a plastic squared off tube and you can see through to see the colour inside. The top of the tube is a twist off black lid and there is very little detail on it just the name of the product on the side and the name of the colour on the bottom and the fact that it holds 7mls.
The product costs £6 from Avon however at the moment you can buy 2 for £8 which mans you save 1/3 of the price which is great, I always wait for items to come on offer with Avon as they always have brilliant offers on. Avon state "A gorgeous gloss that inflates lips to maximum fullness and enhances your natural lip colour, feels lusciously moist and tingly fresh, dermatologist tested."
On unscrewing the lid you are met with a long wand with a little lip brush on the end, the brush is a lovely thickness but I do sometimes find that a bristle or 2 will stray out of line. The lip gloss is really thick and smells a bit minty, on applying to my lips I find that the colour covers really well and leaves my lips looking really shiny with a slight glitter in it. My lips tingle like made when I first put the gloss on which is the fullness effect although my lips don't seem to fill out much, after the tingling subsides my lips feel cold for a while and then after about half an hour or so they go back to feeling normal again.
I find that my lips feel nice and moist wearing this product, my lips look lovely and the cost is decent too, I don't find that my lips really plump up however I have full lips anyway so this may work better for someone with thinner lips. I would give this 4 stars from 5 due to the lack of the plumping effect.
With one of my neighbours being an Avon Lady, I always try to look through the brochure and take advantage of the special offers to get some cheap makeup, which was how I came across Avon Plump Pout Lipgloss, a lip gloss designed to give you fuller, plumper lips. This lip gloss costs £6 at full price, but can often be found as part of many multi buy offers- currently you can mix and match this with other items on a 2 for £8 offer. It comes in five shades : Clearly Plump, Nude Pearl, Luscious Mauve, Nude Pout, and Pink Pucker. I opted for the Nude Pearl colour.
It comes in a see through tube as pictured above, with a black lid that doubles as a brush. Mine was a different colour from that pictured above, and looks a shimmering white in the tube. Applying is easy, simple use the applicator brush to apply the gloss to your lips. I do like that the applicator is a brush rather than a swab style tip, as it allows for much greater precision, and the gloss itself has a nice consistency.
Upon first applying there is a slight tingling sensation - it's not at all unpleasant but it is a little odd at first. The colour is really nice, a sort of very pale overlay of shimmering frosted white, but you can still see the natural colour of my lips through it. Its sort of transparent with tiny white shimmery bits, if that makes sense. There is a definite slight swelling of my lips - I don't quite have the celebrity trout pout, but they are certainly a little thicker, although a lot stickier.
This gloss actually seems quite long lasting - normally I have to apply other glosses every time I eat or drink, but this one seems to stick around a little better. More accurately, the colour remains, but the actually glossiness vanishes - however this does mean I can top it up with a cheaper clear gloss rather than reapplying.
Overall, I think this is a nice gloss, and it does deliver the plumping effect rather well. I wouldn't want to pay the full £6 for it, but certainly think it is worth the money if you can get it for a little less on a deal! A lovely gloss, just a little expensive at full price, 4 stars.
Having tried and loved Avon's Plump Pout lip gloss in the past, I thought I would give the gloss version a go. Avon are a reliable brand, and generally pretty well priced- I got this gloss for £2.50, although prices do change from brochure to brochure depending what offers are on.
I chose a Plump Pout lip gloss in Luscious Mauve- this looks like quite a dark shade of mauve, but when applied makes my lips look a darker (and, obviously, glossier) shade of pink. I found this to be a flattering shade for my pale skin. The gloss effect is really good and very shiny. I found this lip gloss really easy to apply, as it has a small brush which is a little more delicate than most lip gloss applicators. With something like lip gloss, I prefer a smaller applicator because I'm not the neatest person when it comes to applying products, and the small brush helps me to keep the gloss strictly on my lips, rather than all over my face (not a good look). The texture was great- smooth, not sticky, and moisturising- and the tingle effect is fantastic! I don't think I would go so far as to say it makes my pout any plumper, but gloss gives an illusion of fullness anyway, so I won't quibble too much.
The packaging is nice and sleek and rather minimalist- it makes the gloss look a lot more expensive than it actually is.
This lip gloss lasts about as long as any other- usually up to the point where you eat or drink something. That being said, I love the tingling sensation so much that I end up applying it probably more than I need to. This gloss has a lovely fragrance with a hint of cinnamon, and a sweet taste.
This is a really good quality, non-sticky gloss, which is a bargain for the price, and is available in a range of colours to suit different skin tones.
I bought this lip gloss in the nude shade, without actually ready the blurb in the catalogue properly. I bought it thinking it was a normal lip gloss and for a sale price of £2.50 didn't think that was too bad a price to pay. Lip gloss gets used like there is no tomorrow in my house so I always seem to be buying more and more.
I bought this one and my daughter was the first person to use this, she merrily put it on and after a few minutes, put the gloss in my hand and said 'I think I am allergic to this Mum, it makes my lips feel funny'. I looked at her strangely and put it to one side. Forgetting about it, I first used this before a quick trip to the supermarket a few days later, you can pretty much see the supermarket from my house, but I noticed a slight tingle as I was walking through the doors of the shop. I went into the toilets and examined my lips in the mirror (I don't know if I was expecting my face to have been eaten away or something) I noticed no difference in my reflection, so took the gloss out of my bag and while reading the tube, kept looking back at my reflection. A young girl stood next to me and after noticing I was acting oddly, asked me if I was ok. Embarrassed I explained that my lips were tingling and it may be because I was using a new lip gloss. She looked at the tube in my hand and helpfully explained that this was in fact a lip plump lip gloss and it was designed with cinnamon in the product that tingles your lips while it makes them appear plumper. Feeling foolish, I thanked her did my shopping and returned home dragging my plump tingly lips with me.
Now I understand the workings of the gloss, I do have to give it a glowing review. The colour I bought, isn't really a colour, it just gives my lips a shiny look, rather like clear gloss does. The gloss itself is very shiny and wet looking, but it doesn't feel sticky or gloopy at all. The cinnamon is quite off putting if like my daughter and I, you have no idea that it is meant to do this. Now I am aware of its powers, I do smile to myself every time I feel it working. I wouldn't say it makes my lips look a lot different really, my daughter wears it from time to time and she doesn't look that different either. It is a lovely gloss to use although it doesn't last a very long time, you will end up having to re-apply this quite frequently, especially if you are eating or drinking with it on.
I am not sure the full price this is sold for but I still think the £2.50 I paid for it is a suitable price, I don't think I would pay a higher price than this.
I love lip gloss and this is one of my favourites. I bought it first on recommendation from my mother in law, who is an Avon Representative and has heard lots of great reviews about it. I first bought the Nude Pout shade and now I own almost all the shades that are available.
You can get this lip gloss in 4 different shades at the moment, they are:
I own the clearly plump, nude pout and luscious mauve shades and am really pleased with them, they are all lovely colours and come out lovely on my lips. I think though that the pink pucker shade is too light and girly for my skin tone and style. There is quite a nice range of colours in this lip gloss range, there is almost a colour for every make up shade and I am sure that everyone could find at least one colour that suits their style and skin tone.
I really like these lip glosses, they are really easy to apply evenly and when I apply it, my lips look much fuller and plump immediately. They really give my lips subtle volume that is noticeable but not too over the top and make them look really nice. My lips also look really shiny and healthy when I apply this lip gloss, it gives them a nice sheen that isn't too over the top.
I like to keep these lip glosses in my handbag whenever I am wearing them because I find that they usually need re-applied by lunch time and then again nearer the end of the day when I am wearing them at work. Also I find that when I am out at the weekend and having a few drinks that this lip gloss does not really last that long and needs topped up every hour or so. It does not really bother me that I need to keep topping this lip gloss up, because it looks so nice when it is freshly applied and also because most lip glosses need to be re-applied at some stage throughout the day.
You can buy Avon Plump Pout Lip Gloss for around £6 in through your Avon Representative or online. I think that this is a great price for this lip gloss and also it is often put on offer and goes down as low as half price.
I think that this is a fantastic lip gloss, it makes my lips lovely and full and is really easy to apply. I do recommend keeping an eye out for when this lip gloss is on sale though because it goes on offer quite regularly. Overall I would give this lip gloss 5 out of 5 stars. I will definitely be buying it again in the future.

I have found that these lip-glosses are perfect for making your lips look fuller without having to spend a fortune.
The lip-gloss itself comes in a clear tube with a brush in the lid, much like any other lip-gloss really. I like the fact that the applicator is a brush as it allows an even and precise application. This also prevents the tube getting sticky.
When you first apply the lip gloss you will notice a slight tingling sensation, this is not unpleasant and will only last a couple of minutes while it works to make your lips look fuller. Obviously your lips are not going to look dramatically different as this is only a lip gloss not plastic surgery but I have to say there is a definite enhancement. And I know I would much rather use this than have the pain and expenditure of surgery.
The gloss does make your lips feel a bit sticky but this is bearable and is not too much. In fact I think it helps with the plumping effect as it adds more shine.
The gloss itself is a nice consistency that glides onto your lips smoothly. It is not too sticky or liquid like which helps to intensify the colour.
What I have found with this particular lip-gloss is that the shine tends to wear out before the colour. After about an hour you will find that your lips are no longer shiny but will still have a slight colour to them. This I suppose is a benefit that you still have colour but can be seen as a disadvantage if you want your shiny lips to last all day. The only thing I can recommend for this is that you carry the lip-gloss around in your handbag.
Recently Avon have released the honey shades in this collection which are shades of browns and pinks which are lovely neutral colours that can be worn day or night.
This gloss will set you back £6.50 which I think is fairly reasonable for the effect that it gives. I managed to but this when it was on offer for £3.00 which was a bargain!
Avon products can be purchased online or through your local Avon representative.
I really like this lip-gloss and the effects that it has on my lips. With such a wide range of colours to choose from you can have a colour for whatever look you are trying to achieve and at such a cheap price this is also very affordable. I would rate this product 7 out of 10.

Avon and its offers! Marvellous - it allows you to try new things! I had the plump pout on offer for £5 when it should have been £6!
You get 7ml of colour in a fairly standard lipgloss tube, black top, clear body so you can see the colour you will be wearing! Available in a choice of colours - I went for Pink Nectar which is a lovely nude looking shade which would suit majority of skin tones!
When I opened the lipgloss I could smell mint! And I think that the minty smell/feel is to do with the stimulation of your lips and you can feel it tingle! Well I could! I feel my lips are a little fuller but not so much so you feel as though you have had collagen!!
The applicator itself is a brush rather than a sponge, I quite like this, but think that given time the bristles will start to poke up in odd angles leading to poor application and a sticky lipgloss tube!
The lipgloss itself looks quite thick, however i find when I put it on it is quite thin and tends to "bleed" across my lips, so I have to make sure I wipe the brush on the edge of the tube rather than piling it all on for maximum effect. Again this leads to sticky tube syndrome with it sticking to everything in my bag!
Overall a good lipgloss when on offer, but I wouldn't pay more for it!
I ordered some of this lip gloss from Avon ages ago, but I can still remember what its like from when I used to use it.
When I had it I used to use it every single day, just because I loved it so much and I liked how it made my lips feel.
With most plumping lip glosses you expect your lips to tingle a little when you put it on. With this on your lips you can feel it there, and you know that its on, but you can't tell for sure if its actually working to plump them out. It doesn't sting or anything like that though, which is great for me as I'm a bit of a chicken when it comes to things like chilli being on my face - I really hate that burning sensation.
You're probably wondering if this does make your lips look plumper. I think it does. As my top lip is very thin I like putting this on to make it look plumper. I don't want really fat lips but I'd just like it to look a bit fuller if you get what I mean. Well anyway this does do that and I love the shine it gives my lips, too.
I like the applicator that comes with this to put it on. It makes it very easy to apply the lip gloss and get it precisely where you want it to go.
I also really like the colour. My shade was 'frozen rose' which was a lovely light pink shade and gave off lots of shine.
This only cost me about £2 which is an absolute bargain. I am going to get another of these soon when my current lip gloss runs out and I can't wait to start using it again. Highly recommended.
Avon Plump Pout Lip Gloss happens to be my favourite at the moment. I wear the natural peck but it is available in other shades. This lip gloss is a bargain compared to others available on the high street, and although I have tried other brands I always come back to this.
It maximises your lips while leavin you with a great cool fresh feeling. I got a bit of a fright the first time I used it when my lips started tingling :) but it is all part of the magic.
It comes with quite a good applicator although I find after you've been using it for a while the actual tube tends to get quite sticky and messy so you have to be careful with the other stuff in your handbag.
Over all I think it's a great all rounder but you need to apply it quite often and I tend to run out fairly quickly but that could just be me using lots of it!!
I would definately recommend to anyone who wants that full look without spending a fortune on high street brands just make sure the top is shut properly when you put it back in your handbag!!
I bought the plump pout lip gloss simply because it was on off at the time (any 2 for £7) I cant remember what the shade was but it was a very pale pink colour, close to the colour in the picture. I never imagined the product actually working, how can a lip gloss possibly make your lips look bigger, I thought I'd give it a try anyway.
The lip gloss is a good size, it fits in your bag on a night out but the product still lasted me about 6 weeks.
I was a bit dissappointed with the applicator brush as it was on small and quite hard and difficult to use, it didnt bend or mover much to get all areas of your lips.
Once the lip gloss had been applied you could really feel it working, theres a tingly kind of feeling.
My lips did look slightly bigger I thought but there wasn't a big difference of course.
The lip gloss lasted quite well and stayed on for about 1 hour which I thought was good for a lip gloss.
Iv recently ordered another one of these and can't wait for it to arrive.
Avon Plump Pout Lip Gloss is a real bargain at the moment. It usually retails for £6 per gloss, but it is presently on offer for just £2.50 which I think is an amazing price for a product like this.
Using this lip gloss is not as straightforward as it could be if I am honest. The little wand is actually a very small and very fine brush. I can see some people finding precise application a little tricky with a brush like this. A firm sponge applicator would have been a much wiser choice in my opinion.
The actual gloss if very fine, smooth and of course glossy. There is a cinnamon tingle to this gloss that is activated on application. As the brochure says, if you can feel a tingle, it must be working! I think there is a tiny little bit of truth in this, as the ingredients help to stimulate blood flow to the lips and this in turn makes them appear a little fuller.
The gloss stays put relatively well, although it is not the longest-lasting gloss I have ever tried. I would say that it stays on for a couple of hours as a general rule, though if you try to eat or drink while wearing this you will find it disappears quite a bit quicker than this. The effects while it remains on my lips is very desirable though, and it the gloss has a very lightweight and delicate appearance to it that I really like.
It is available in a choice of Berry Plush, Mocha Kiss, Rose Pucker and Natural Peck. This product has been released and re-released a few times during the course of the last few years, so every now and again you fill find it disappearing only to reappear with a whole new selection of shades to try. At present, it appears as though it is on it's way out to make way for some new shades over the summer. This is a great time to buy them at a low price if you have never tried this product before.
I bought this lip gloss a few months ago as I wanted to try something different to my usual gloss and it was on offer in the Avon brochure at the time. It costs £6 when it's not on offer.
The packaging is simple and plain, a clear square tube which you can see the colour of the gloss through and a black lid. It has a brush applicator rather than the sponge-tip I was expecting.
The brush is easy to use and a good size, but I would still have preferred a sponge-tip as I find them easier to use, especially when I don't have a mirror handy, brushes can be a little trickier.
When I apply this gloss my lips really tingle, at first I thought it was going to get painful, but it stops just short of actually hurting. This tingling feeling is the plumping action of the gloss getting to work, and within a few seconds my lips do look a little plumper, though it's not especially noticeable.
The colour I chose is called nude pout, which looks very pink in the tube but it goes on as more of a natural nude colour which is not too different from my natural lip colour. It gives a nice sheer wash of colour and shine rather than a bold colour like a lipstick. The effect of the gloss is a subtle shiny healthy look, rather than a full-on wet-look shine, and I think it looks very nice and natural.
It lasts quite well for a lip gloss and I find I only need to re-apply it every couple of hours. It feels nice on the lips, is not overly sticky, and it keeps them feeling moisturised and healthy. The only real problem with it is that the plumping effect only lasts minutes before my lips are back to normal, though the tingling feeling lasts longer.
This is a nice gloss but I don't think I'd buy it again as it didn't really do what it's supposed to.
Avon plump pout lip gloss is currently available in four shades: Berry Plush, Rose Pucker, Natural Peck and Mocha Kiss, although the shades do change from time to time. It costs £6 and can be purchased either online or through an Avon Representative (I'm sure you all know one - I know 4!).
My lip gloss was actually given to me by a friend who tried it but didn't like it. I can see why, or rather 'feel' why. It's really painful!
I love lip glosses, especially ones with 'extra benefits' such as lip plumping properties so I have tried quite a few and I am used to the tingling/stinging sensation that comes with it. This gloss takes it to a whole new level! It is quite uncomfortable.
When you first apply it it takes a couple of seconds to fell it 'working', you are then met with a kind of comforting tingling sensation. After a few more seconds this escalates and gets quite uncomfortable. Every few seconds it seems to up a notch and increase it's intensity and after a short while it does get quite annoying. Almost to the point of thinking 'it's not actually worth it' and wiping it off!
Most lip plumping glosses give up after a while them just seem like standard glosses but this one carries on and is constantly stinging until it comes off.
Yes, you may all be thinking 'lightweight' or 'no pain, no gain' right now but I am of this opinion as well and if you actually gained anything from this gloss it would make it all worthwhile - but you don't!
It doesn't really make any impact at all. If you stare at your lips before using it then really study them afterwards you can see a very slight change but the effect is slightly sore and puffy, not sexy and pouty.
The gloss itself is quite a pretty colour as it is shimmery and is a hint of colour rather than a full on shade so perfect for daytime use. It has a soft brush applicator (like a nail varnish brush) rather than the fluffy foam pads you usually get.
It has a rather odd smell to it, I recognise it but cannot put my finger on it. Not an unpleasant smell, just a bit odd for a lip gloss. It is also quite sticky and gooey which is not very nice to wear.
Overall, Not a great product - it's a pretty colour but you will probably not want to wear it as it stings and irritates your lips and there are no benefits to be gained from using it.
After reading a review about this yesterday and finding that I had 1 in my bag I decided to throw my 50p's worth in.
This product is from Avon and is available in a few different colours. There is Berry Plush, Mocha Kiss, Natural Peck and Rose Pucker. Each tube is 7ml.
The packaging is quite standard. It is a rectangular tube with the wand running through it. It has a black plastic lid and a stick on label with the name of it and an outline of a pair of lips. On the bottom of the tube it has what shade it is.
This is a lip gloss and I prefer to use gloss instead of Lipstick, as I just like a hint of colour and a bit sheen. Some Lip glosses i've tried are really sticky, but this one isn''t too sticky and dries a bit after application anyway. The wand has a sponge end and I only need 1 dip to stick my lips.
This product claims to plump, but I have to say i'm not sure if it does. I don't have really thin lips, but they are not thick either. The blurb on the book says "If it tingles, it is working". I think it tingles no matte what due to the ingredience anyway.
This has cinnemon in it, which I quite like the taste of and you can smell this a bit as well. The tingle is more tingly than I expected and I sometime re-apply this just for the tingle rather than the colour.
The normal price for this is £6, but I bought it when it was on offer for £4. Also in the current Avon book if you buy one of these you get to choose another kind of Lip Gloss for free.
I do like this for the hint of colour and the shine and the price isn't bad
I am not normally one to have a lot of lipglosses in my make-up bag, but when i heard that Avon were doing their own version of plumping lip gloss i had to give it a try after pinching a shot of my friends one.
Avon state that this 'inflates lips to maximum fullness and enhances natural lip colour', and i actually agree with them to a certain extent. So what happens when you apply this then? Well, once the lipgloss is applied after about 30 seconds you will start to feel your lips tingling, this is all thanks to the cinnamon that is in the ingredients, dont expect anything drastic to happen, i did notice that after a few times of applying this that my lips did look a bit fuller, but maybe that was just my imagination playing tricks on me. The tingling sensation does however go quite quickly, and i found that unlike other plumping lip glosses that i have tried, when you blot your lips together there is no tingling sensation like you get with other brands.
The appearance of the container is just like any other lipgloss tends to be, it is see through so that you can see the colour of the lip gloss, and the applicator is like a lipstick brush with a black screw on top. I found that the lip gloss itself was rather thick and sticky, which is not good if you apply this just before stepping outside, and a gust of wind accidentally blows your hair right in your face, you are guaranteed to have a clump of hair stuck to your lips, not very attractive now is it?
I myself dont really like the taste of anything cinnamon, but this is actually not that over powering. I felt that this didnt really do the job all that well of plumping up my lips like it said it was meant to, but i did find that it gave my lips a bit more colour and shine, and made them a hell of a sticky too.
I paid roughly £3 for my one as it was on offer when i bought it, but the usual price of this is normally £6. This is alot cheaper that most of the other lip plumping glosses around, but i dont think that i would buy it again at £6, i felt that at £3 it was OK but i still wouldnt waste my money buying it again, so once it is finished i am afraid my lovely Avon rep there will be no more of this on my order.
