Advantages: not too expensive, nice colour, nice finish

Disadvantages: takes a bit of blending, not much choice of colour

I got this mineral blusher together with the Avon mineral foundation (see previous review) when it was on offer, both for £8.00 (normally £7.00 each), this seemed like a fair price as I didn't want to spend a fortune on a new fad which may not be for me. Its described as exceptionally fine, pure mineral powder pigments which blend to a naturally luminous finish. Contains 100% pure mineral pigments. Free of talc and fragrance. for all skin types. .09 oz. net wt.

I looked through the colours and decided on blushed a deep plummy\red colour as it looks most like the colour of my dream mousse blusher which I love.

It works similarly to the foundation in that you sift it though the small holes so only a small amount is available to go on your brush. I used my kabuki brush rather than a blusher brush as this worked much better on the foundation. I applied it sweepingly with very very little colour each time to both cheeks and then a little across the nose, chin and forehead ( I seen this done on TV apparently it's where the sun hits you and looks natural).

It takes a little longer to blend than the foundation but the resulting healthy glow was pretty good I still prefer the effect my dream mousse blusher gives but I think if you are wearing mineral foundation you pretty much need to go with mineral blusher of you'll rub the foundation off.

A little goes a long way, so remember to tap off excess so it doesn't go cakey.or clowny, build up slowly.

Recommendation - If you can get a good offer on this - try it to see if mineral make-up is for you.
