I was not impressed with the jewellery box from the Sparkle range at all so I was eager to see exactly what the manicure would be like quality wise. I am happy to say that although the products are from the same range, the manicure set is considerably better quality and an item I am happy to give as a gift this Christmas to several of my female relatives.

This set features a little handbag shaped manicure folder that snaps shut with a popper underneath a sparkled buckle. There is a little handle on the top of the folder to make this into a cute little handbag. It is small enough to put into a handbag but big enough to hold nail essentials including a pair of scissors, a nail file, a pair of tweezers and a pair of nail clippers.

All of the items are coated in black with little sparkly silver stars on them. I think they are all really attractive as well as being functional. I like that they have opted to include tweezers in this set rather than the usual cuticle pusher (which hardly anyone uses) too.

The tools are not the same quality as you would expect from purchasing them seperately but they are all fully functioning. The tweezers have a point to them and the scissors cut well. The nail file is metal which is my preferred choice as well because I am not a fan of emery boards.

I have to give this set five stars for being so adorable. It costs £6 full price but lots of offers this Christmas make it only £3.
